I'm gonna be 18 !!

OMG !! I'm almost 18 now .. my heart is going gedebak .. gedabook ... haha .. seriously .. 1 whole year of my life has just dissapeared like that !! 1 year in poly is also almost over ... man !!

This year has been a fanstastic year for me ... I have changed alot .. not just externally .. but also from my inside .. the shut up me has started to become .. well .. more sociable .. at least .. haha ...

Met so many new friends ... cherish our friendship .. and haha .. i finally managed to take a bus !! cool right ? But .. yea so many changes .. that i never dared to venture into .. but i did it .. thanx to help of my friends ... thx peeps !!

Today was sorta funny day .. had my friends over at my house .. played a stupid treasure hunt game until everybody complaining ... lol sorry la ... but at least u guys weren't spoil sports ..

Anyways .. thx to everyone for making my 17th year of living a memorable one !! .. u guys should know who u are la .. so i dun really want to mention it ...

Okok .. now its time for me to countdown to my birthday !!!

Hmm .. i found something interesting on the internet a few days ago. It's about my great grandfather ... Haha .. I didn't know that he was such a great person and he really achieved so muchin his life time ...

This is what I found out about him .. well .. his biography .. if u wanna call it that ...

MR GOH TJOEI KOK (1905-1994)

The late Mr Goh Tjoei Kok, founding Chairman of the Tat Lee Bank Group was well respected in the various communities and will always be remembered by his contemporaries and friends as a man who exhibited the characteristic pioneering spirit of Singapore's first generation of successful entrepreneurs. When Mr Goh passed away at the age of 89 on October 25 1994, the Tat Lee Bank Group's assets were valued at about $11 billion; a great accomplishment given his humble beginning.

The Birth of a Great Entrepreneur
Born on August 13 1905 in Fujian, China, Mr Goh was the youngest in the family of three girls and three boys. In 1920, at the age of 15, he sailed forth from China to Jakarta and joined the textile merchandising trade. Two years later, he returned to China with his brother, as the textile business was unfavourable. In 1925, he left for Borneo to help out in his relative's business. Together with his wife and nine children, they lived through a difficult period in Indonesia from 1928 to 1937.

Mr Goh ventured into the rubber trade in 1937. It proved promising, but the initial success was set back temporarily by the Japanese Occupation. After the war, he went back to rubber trading, foreseeing that there would be great potential in that field. In 1945, he set up the company - Tat Hoa, which means "achieving prosperity". The company dealt in rubber milling and export of the end products. Through his hard work and determination, he made a great fortune from the business.

Further Developments
In 1947, Mr Goh together with his family migrated to Singapore. At that time, it was probably a very difficult decision to make as it meant leaving behind a flourishing rubber business in Indonesia and severing ties built over some 20 years. Though the main reason for the move was his children's education, there were economic reasons as well. He was quoted saying, "I felt then that Singapore, fresh out of the war, would be a hive of activity. That business opportunities would be abundant. I wanted to be part of that growth..."

It took him seven years before establishing his footing in Singapore. In 1954, he started a trading firm called Tat Lee, which means "achievement for the benefit of the society", dealing with import and export of goods.

Tat Lee Company formed the basis of Mr Goh's fortune for expansion into other businesses in Singapore and Malaysia. In the 60s, he ventured into the iron and steel industry believing that Singapore's burgeoning industrialisation would require tremendous amount of such products. In 1961, he forked out an initial paid-up capital of $9.6 million to own 40% of National Iron and Steel Mills Ltd. The company, a joint venture between the Singapore Government and a group of local investors, became the backbone of Singapore's growing industrial programme. He was the Vice-Chairman of National Iron and Steel Mills Ltd from 1961 to 1986.

A true entrepreneur, Mr Goh was always on the look out for opportunities. In November 1973, he set up Tat Lee Bank with a paid-up capital of $36 million. The founding of the Bank was the most significant milestone in his career and also the fulfilment of his long cherished dream of going into the banking industry. The Bank was the first Singapore registered bank to be launched when the government started promoting Singapore as an international financial centre in the 70s.

The Bank was officially opened by the then Minister for Finance, Mr Hon Sui Sen, in February 1975. In a rare interview with the Straits Times in 1982, Mr Goh was quoted saying, "The founding of Tat Lee Bank so long after the granting of the last local bank license, is a significant event in Singapore banking history." Under the dedicated leadership of Mr Goh, Tat Lee Bank expanded rapidly. Tat Lee Finance Ltd, Pan Malayan Holdings Ltd and Tat Lee Securities Ltd were just some of the local companies under his chairmanship. He was also the Chairman/Director of a string of local and Malaysian public companies.

His Contributions to the Community
The more successful Mr Goh became, the greater his contributions to the society, particularly to the Chinese community. He was a generous man who had not only contributed money but also his energies to community work. He was very involved in the Hokkien Huay Kuan's activities and served as the Vice-Chairman from 1964 to 1994. He was also the Council Member of the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry from 1960 to 1965.

An ardent supporter of education, he served many years as the Chairman of the management committees of both Chung Cheng High School and Nanyang Junior College. His philanthropic stance for education led him to be elected as the Vice-Chairman of the Council of the Nanyang University from 1969 to 1980. Prior to this period, he witnessed the birth of the Nanyang University and contributed generously and participated vigorously in the fund raising for the privately funded University to promote tertiary education for the Chinese educated community.

In 1967, Mr Goh was appointed the Justice of Peace and in 1972, he was awarded the Public Service Star. In 1973, the International Federation of Photography presented him with the Honorary Excellence award. For his contribution to education, he received the Service to Education Award in 1990.

So ... haha .. yea ... so even though you start small .. eventually with patience, perseverance and determination .. youcan succeed in life too .. so everyone .. dun ever give up hope in life .. instead cherish it and pursue your dreams ..

Of Bus Virgins

Yeeks !!I haven't updated my poor old blog for ack .. 1 month .. what happened to me ? I used to blog regularly ... [sigh] ... its probably because of school and BAOC ... well ... the past month as gone off quite well .. and really fun indeed !! Really made loads of new friends in baoc .. haha ...

OK .. so a new semester has started .. I dun think I will have anytime to blog whatever happened the past month .. haha .. so yeah .. whatever happened the past month will go unrecorded in history .. hooray !! Nobody will ever know abt ... -.- .. nvm i shan't say !!

Let's get back to today's event ... hmm .. I woke up at 10 am .. for the first time ever in my sadded teenage life. I usually wake up at 12 or 2 pm ... wth ... anyways .. i was up early so I went to take a dip .. I only planned to swim for 30 mins .. and maybe half the time .. lazing in the pool .. instead .. I swam continously for 2 hours ... -.- ... intervals included .. lol .. the sun was really baking hot .. and i forgot sunscreen today .. so .. got a slight burn ... oh well ..

Wei Png called once I returned home .. apparently .. he had been waiting for me for over an hour at KAP .. ( King Albert's Park ) ... haha .. yeah we were going over to MACs there for a study session ... so yeap i rushed off to meet him ... KAP was kinda crowded today .. loads of people .. but I managed to study .. and do my tutorials ... but actually .. i feel that i spent a wonderful saturday doing my homework .. didn't sound right lei .. = .. should have gone and watched movie or smthn .. bleah .. but at leats i got rid of all my work .. I'll have a wonderful sunday tomorrow !!

We stayed on until abt 7 plus when we decided to leave .. I think we saw many ppl come and go too many times liao ... so .. yeah we were about to hail a cab when i got a bright idea .. let's take the bus since my house was not far away ... somewhere near NYGHS ... so .. yeap .. my first bus ride ever !!! LOL .. i was nervous and excited at the same time ... lol .. and wei png took pics too !! see below !! Yeah .. i plopped down 55 cents and soon we were home !!

We went to my house and then we walked all the way to coronation plaza ... all the shops close .. so we just went to NTUC .. got soem stupid stuff .. paid 30 bucks .. and left -.- ... my poor wallet .. low cash pressure liao ... haha ...

Okay .. so we returned hoem again .. yeap .. had dinner and watched re-runs of friends .. kinda boring actually but I had my best friend over .. so he's never boring for me !! Haha ...

The day turned out well .. but spending 6/7 hours in KAP was really too much .... haha .. i think we're going to make this a regular event .. it seems to eb the only way i can finish all my tutorials ... effective ...

Went to school today for a debriefing by some of the teachers in charge .. haha .. it was kinda hilarious .. this lecturer Henry made his presentation more colourful and enjoyable ... anyways ... not much done in school .. had lunch another briefing and then I raced off for Tennis ...

The weather was terribly hot today ... I started the game with pale skin and now its burnt ... -.- ... i suggested island club to sell sun tan lotion .. everyone broke into laughter .. haha .... whatever ...

I reached home and grandma was there .. so I went out with her and my cuz's wilson and wilshia for dinner at the marriot .. shangri-la and hyatt was booked ... haha .. anyways .. not bad la the dinner ... only managed 4 plates today and also ice-cream ... not really hungry ... but like i said the buffett was good !!

Now .. I'm home ... kinda sian .. nthn to do ... hmm .. probably go play some game ... yeah ... haha .. okok .. laterz !!

What teh bloody hell !! I haven't updated for like how long man ? ... -.- seriously too lazy .. I can always find tiem to blog when I am having my exams and absolutely no time to blog when I'm having my holis ... no logic .. *conks brain* .... anyways .. this past month has been a blast ... hell yeah ... went to shanghai .. bloody fun and picked up a new word .. bloody ... kewl yeah .. well some of the girls were irritated of course .. heh heh .. anyways .. moving on to today's events !!

Went back to school today .. the wind almost swept me of my feet .. very very windy .. dunno why but also sunny .. lol .. whatever ... to cut it short .. I'm suppose to prepare for my school's orientation and I was doing the mascots for Team Scotland .. with ma friends .. and yeah .. I just had to go to shanghai and before I knew it .. i had to wear a skirt .. ( kilt .. =p ) .. it was too hilarious today anyways ... I was like wearing my shorts only and had this sarong thingie tied around me ... -.- .. of all the humiliation .. anyways ... it was funny when i finally managed to look at myself ( i didn;t have a mirror when i was being dolled up ) .. in a good sort of a way .. haha ...

I think I even suggested for a bagpipe to go with it .. diao .. add more embarassment only .. haha .. Jeremiah was doing the prince .. at least he could cover himself properly .. and save his dignity .. me on teh other hand ... life sux ... Michelle was doingthe milkmaid .... she was very pretty lor .. can admit .. haha .. but it was kinda funny to see her in that costume ... picture the milkmaid from the dutch milk bottle ... and sharon was the "gong ju" princess .. but well she wasn't here today ... dratz ...

Later on, we helped out with the ID tags .. had to make 160 .. kao .. but we managed to finish by 5 pm .. so that went well .. and then later Ernest dropped a bombshell .. Extraordinary Scotland was the only team who had mascots .... !!!!!!!!!! lol !!! that meant that only 4 ppl in the entire orientation team would be mascots and I was one of those poor bloody sods !! ... haha ... well like i said .. life sux ...

Anyways ... got everything done and I went home a happy man ... managed to slack a bit at home and played some games on my com ... !!

Oh yeah ! Star Wars EP 3 is coming soon man !! I can't wait .. my unc' got me some free tickets so .. that's cool but I want to get the premiere tickets ... sadded ... hmm .. wait .. maybe i can find it in e-bay ... hmm .. *thinks* ... i'll go check tomorrow ... haha ..

At the Shangs

Phew .... it was really an exhausing day that ended with a bang ...

Since i didn't have much to do .. my parents pulled me all the way to Ang Mo Kio to sellect some tiles for our new house ... it was really boring at first but as i got to choose my own tile for my room .. it was bloody interesting ... now my bathroom will be grey and white ... haha ... and to top it off ... make it special and mix and match the tiles too .... haven't choose my room tiles yet .. but I'm going to get a room and a loft .. so 2 storeys just for me !! yay

So .. i have a room .. and since my ceiling is high .. i pleaded to get am extra storey so that i would have more space ... they agreed so thats how i got my loft ...

We spent a longtime there ... from noon to abt 5 pm .. and even after that we went to survey other houses .. my parents were so funny quarelling over what stones we should use ... weird .. haha ...

After that ... we picked up Derek and had buffet at Shangri-la ... i tell u the new coffe house .. looks WOW ... they changed the name to err .. the line .. yeah and it just looks fantastic to me ... the buffet was also damn good .. ya of course .. the price was also a bit steep .. i think abt $60 + liddat .. and soeul garden is only 1/6 of that .... huh ..

I loved the pasta .. they had all sorts of pasta ... spinach .. tomato .. egg .. and even squid ... yeah i wanted to try that but it was black in colour so i took the spinach ... which .. ironically also looked weird ... however ... it turned out to be tasteh !!! ...

Dessert was wow .. they had this fountain and instead of water .. chocolate was coming out of it .... Stacy would give anything just to try this ... u took a marshmallow stick and then dip it in the fountain .. i tell u .. when it sinks into ur mouth .. u just want to eat more .... hahaha .. all in all .. one of the best meals i have ever head ..... and dun forget always go in when u are bloody hungry ... i managed to wiped 6 plates clean ... hee hee ... can't tell right .... yea i eat alot one ....

Anywas ... bloody full today .... but i can tell you later tonight i ill be raiding the fridge aagain .. haha .. watch out fridge !!!

Hey .. It's been a a while since I blogged .. so sorry abt that .. been preparing for the exams .. so .. u noe what I mean ... I just had my micro today ... not too bad I should say .. I had expected the paper to be inhumanely hard .. but it was just hard .... dotz ... haha ... whatever ... the paper is over .. and I dun care ... as long as I can a B for econs ... I'm happy ...

Still have CIP and Bstats left on thurs and friday ... seriously worried for my bstats .. cause i know shit abt it ... bleah .. better start my revising asap ..

Anyways ... 1,000 visitors have visited my blog since I put up that counter of mine somewhere last year ... I really wanna thx all of u guys for reading my entries .. or at least just come and take a quick peek .. haha .. been doing my best to maintain this blog .. but I admit its kinda hard.

My second blog is also doing pretty well .. 50+ visitors in less than 5 days ... haha .. thx fr reading =)

Today, took Kelly to the vet .. had to take a jab and some other stuff ... she was very quiet ... haha .. cat must have gotten her tongue ... well .. yeah bat Kelly .. she's really a neat dog .. but like any other puppy .. she likes to bark alot .. We've been training her .. and its getting better .. at least she doesn't bark at 2 am anymore haha ....

She also a li'l stubborn .. so I have to show her whose boss or when she grows up .. it can be a huge problem ... =)

So .. life is still as boring as ever ... and the exams aren't helping much ... feel like in the pits .. but hey .. just 2 more papers to go .. and after that .. guilt-free holidays ... ( lets not get to the results yet k ... lol )

Oh yeah ... there was a fashion show at Taka yesterday .. so sad I didn't come ... heard it was loads of fun ... I think Jon Jonsson was there .. ( dunno if i spell correctly ) ... the manhunt winner guy ... i think .. o.O ... anyway .. all the girls went crazy over him .. sigh .. girls ... XD ...

Well ... been playing LOTR the whole day .. kinda obsessed with it actually ... haha ... better start studying now ... wait .. I wanna write another story first ... yeah !! That's what I'm gonna do now .. THEN .. study .. =P ... lazy la ...

Harlow people !! I've been so lazy lately lol .. tomorrow exams somemore !! Die la ... haha .. anyways ... I just created a new blog ... It's actually just a hobby of mine .. I liek to write stories .. so I decided to create a story and maybe every 2 days add in a new chapter ... I already have a chapter in there ... it will be the beginning of a very long story .. lol ...

I had already planned the story a long time ago .. abt 2 months liao and had all the info stored in my note pad and had decided to write it on microsoft word .. budden decided hey .... I have a blog mah .. so I welcome my new sub-blog ... haha ...

Sheesh .. Kelly had been barking all night long and it really killed my sleep ... In the end, I had to clamber up to my mom's room and sleep there ... My dad had been clicking on the beeper to silence the dog, but to no avail .. we only realised later that the beeper thingie had ran out of power and had to be recharged .. huh ... interesting ..

Woke up at 2 today .. cause I couldn't sleep last night .. totally horrible ... Derek had a friend over an I was half-naked when I walked in ... sheesh ... anyways ... I played some pokemon cards .. lol ... yeah yeah .. I'm 17 .. going on 18 .. but wadahell .. I was really bored mah ....

PLayed till 4 liddat .. lost once .. won once ... bleah ... after that .. began to revise my CIP ... I had already revised my OB yesterday .. still left conflict ... and right now .. i still have chapters 6 & 7 to cover for CIP ... haha .. aiyah .. i htink everyone is very sian studying for the exams .. but hey .. after next friday ... we will be home free man !! Woo-hoo !!

So many things to memorise .. so little time .. what to do ... what to do ... Hiya ...

Anyways .. went to see the petition for the high bus fares charged to poly students .. hmm .. not bad .. 6,000 + signatures already ... but still quite more signatures to go before they can submit it to the bus companies ... yeah and I agree ... what makes them think that we poly students are differentfrom the JC students ... talk abt being inferior ...

OMG !! They released a new trailer for the upcoming Zelda game ... man .. I tellu this is the coolests game ever made ... yea we know sony still leads the gaming market ... but nintendo will always be the one that created the best game ever .. The Legend of Zelda ... Ocarina of Time is still the no.1 game for many gaming fans ... and this new game will steal the hearts of almost everyone ..

Anyways .. I went to search for more info of this game .. sady .. only speculation but not much hard news that i could find .. all i know is that it will be more darker than its predecessors ... windwaker is an example ... lol ..

I watched the new trailer and I am practically drooling my mouth off right now .... the graphics are oh-so-awesome .. the gameplay .. smooth and the environment .. oh-mama !! ...

Bloody Haircut

I had a haircut today ... -.- .. this didn't really start my day well of course ... Wei Png and Chow had stayed overnight so was with them ... we didn't leave till 1:50 and i was already 20 mins late by then .. bah ... wasn't looking forward to it anyways ...

Aunty Doris was there as usual ... she got a tan .. beautifful one .. haha ... we compromised on a haircut ... lol ... it took me quite a while coz i was going to have 6 months worth of hair razed off ... and I wasn't going to go down that easily !!

So ... was flipping through a mag and saw a cool haircut .. so i choose picked it and in 10 minutes .. i was all done ... i was laughing like siao lor .. oso dunno why ... i was examining my hair that was already cut off .. a bit rusty coloured .. probably to the chlorine .. very dull .. and suprisngly soft ...

I think I *kinda* like my new haircut .. but it still feels weird somehow .. well no choice .. must live with it .. for a few months ...

After that .. went for tennis .. coach didn't come so Derek and me played a few games for an hour plus .. lol ... it was hilarious .. so after we finished just sat at the Tennis complex entrance and at 6 pm .. the junior players came in the hordes .. there was a mass junior game at 6pm that they .. so see all the cute little tykes with their moms and dads .. haha

So got home ... poking my hair once in a while ... still think it was alien-looking ... XD Played with Kelly ... but i think she's getting a little too noisy .. hee hee .. but still cute ... better start training soon .. if not we will pamper her too much le ..

So after a long day .. I'm still here ... chatting with Vanessa and stuying OB ... pathetic ... XP

Haha .. I finally got my new little puppy .. it's really cute and all ... We've decided to call her Grace Kelly .. but we'll shout commands using Kelly ...

We had my other dog, Junior to make friends with Kelly and make sure that they could get along .. Junior kept sniffing at Kelly's butt .. lol .. It's so fun to see 2 dogs playing together ... but they almost got into a fight ... heng it wasn't serious ...

Oh yeah .. before I put up the pics .. just talk abt my day ... Anyways .. today our micro tutor didn't come today .... his wife had just given birth to a new baby girl .. Hannah ..

We had another tutor to take us .. a joint tutorial u can say and this guy is really hilarious but his teaching methods were a bit .. well .. fun but not used in the norm ... haha ... shall not talk abt it anymore

Later, went to revise OB with Dixon in the library .. haha .. had loads of fun neh ... study half the time and talk cock the other half ...

OB Wan la !!!

Yay .. today was the final tutorial of the module OB .. kinda happy .. haha .. bleah ...

Tutorial went fine as teacher rambled on Leadership skills and all that ... Vanessa didn't come today .. dunno why lei ... someone said she went to Malaysia ... have a safe trip .. =)

After tutorial .. I went straight home and did a little bit of studying ... OB naturally ... very sian liddat the whole day studying .. lol ... I went to swim too ... the sun was nice and the weather lukewarm .. hmm .. just perfect ..

Oh yeah .. like i told u .. mom has been feeding me all sorts of food ... milk .. chocolate .. burger .. chiecken .. potato .. arrghh !! She said that I was too skinny and I needed to put on weight and do lots of exercise ... etc etc .... I think I already put on 0.5 kg ... yeah . serious .. now at 58.5 kg ... can't imagine that I was overweight in Secondary school ... XP ... crazy body i have la ... suddenly low metabolism .. and then suddenly ... high ..

Oh yeah ... later that day, Mom and Dad took me to the pet shop .. Yesterday, my mom and I were wandering near he pert shop then we saw a cute puppy staring at us from inside .. my mom fell in love instantly ... lol ... and the very next day ( which is today of course ) ... my parents went down and bought it ... lol .. and now we have 2 dogs ... 1 male .. 1 female .. add them up ... a catastrophe..

It's a golde retriever btw ... 3 1/2 months old .. so should be able to start training immediately ... haha .. I spent the wjole night thinking of names ... here is what I got.

Whoo boy .. after saturday .. I was really pooped out ... didn't really felt like doing anything .. sian ... just played some games on the com .. andthen lazed in bed the whole day .. very sian .. even tho the exams are drawing nearer and nearer ... scared !!

Anyways .. I went to swim .. again .. haha .. did abt 8 laps until cannot tahan .. coz the weatehr was so bloody hot ... so I just lazed abt in the pool ... played some polo with Ragu ... haha .. nthn else to do lor ...

Went to the gym afterwords and worked out a little bit but I just can't seem to do anyting today .. bloody pooped ... haha .. have benn repeating that too much .. eeps ...

I had lunch at home and practically gobbled up everything ... really hungry .. and i think i had a gallon of milk .. lol ... and before long .. i went to change .. coz we were having dinner outsie at Taka there ...

Later went to buy some clothes coz all my clothes are shrinkign and they are beginning to have holes in them .. lol .. haven't bought anything for quite a while le .. so i got some T's and a new pair of jeans ...

Dinner was fantastic .. Dad met his old friend .. whose wife was his classmate too and school mate of my mom .. and their son was in teh same class as my brother in Primary 1 ... wah .. like so close liddat .. lol

Before long .. our tummies were filled up and I almost wanted to puke coz my mom was feeding me non-stop .. lol .. asking me to grow fatter ...like a turkey . . XP ...

Haha .. anwyays home now and I just got of the phone with my 1 hour phone call with Dixon ... we were arguing whther tomorrow's Bstats tutorial was compulsary or not .. well .. we'll see tomorrow ...

It's late already and I have to prepare for school tomorrow .. so I will update again asap

For starters .. I woke up kinda late today .. haha .. very happy coz all the common tests are over already !! But .. then again it means that the exams are about to start .. sad ...

Anyways .. went for a dip this afternoon .. the sun was horribly hot and i almost got a sunburn ... Very sian swimming today .. no one to accompany me to swim ... sian ... what a drag man ...

Since it was too sian ... I just left like that .. had lunch with myself ... with ma new TV ... so cool can just sit down there and watch the whole day ...

Called WP budden he still in NUS with chow .. so just took my own sweet time and by the time i finished lunch it was 3 pus already ...

I reached WP's house at 4 and they had all started without me .. so I went to play RE4 .. heng i brought my gamecube if not I would be bored till death ...

Wei png came out later to try it out and soon everyone in the house was watching him play like as if it was a movie .. all the suspense ... played for 2 hours plus .. lol ..

I was like screaming at wei png .. haha .. so damn funny lor ...

Anyways .. later we even watched RE: Apocalypse for fun ... We watched until 11 or 12 like that ..

Now .. it's kinda late and I'm still at Wei Png house lol .. i think I shuld go gome already ba ... too late ... anyways I'll blog again erm .. later today ...

Bstats Test is Over !!

Today was the final lesson for S&W ... haha .. i really can't believe that time has moved so fast ... still remember the 2st day of S&W .... memories .. sigh .. I'll miss those days .. haha .. but I'm looking forward to my holidays u noe =) .. who isn't ... we played a game of mini-volleyball .. haha .. it was more fun than the normal game ... can't really describe it here.. o.O ...

Once S&W was over .. we said our goodbyes .. part our ways and hopefully bump into one another along the corridor or smthn .. since Ngee Ann is so small .. sort off ... dotz ...

I went home after S&W .. skipped LMS .. coz I had a Bstats test today .. Bleah ... this is the final common test paper and I will be enjoying my weekend liao .. dun care abt studying ... HAHA !! Went home and took a nap .. abt 2 hours ... dreaming off my class going on a trip to Venice .. only that Venice has tall glass skyscrapers ... it was very dark .. i think there was a power shortage or smthn o.O ... what an interesting imagination i have .. haha

Woke up from my nap .. and started studying Bstats .. really didnt understand Binomial Probability .. and alas .. it came out in the test .. 30 marks somemore .. SIAO ...

Mom left with Derek at 5+ while I got ready for school ... My classmates were all worried over the paper .. haha .. expecting the worse .. take re-test ... choi !!!

Haha .. then i received the paper ... like wah lao .. only 4 questions .. what that o.o .. everythign that i studied didn't come out .. those I didn't came out .. esp the binomial prob .. the onethat I really can't understand ... sobz ... bleah ... at least the other I know how .. oh well .. dun wanna talk abt Bstats anymore ...

After test, went to the Boutique ... Mom was there ... and so was everyone else .. had dinner .. practically gobbled up all the Otah ... Gary who dished them out ... really made them tasty ... really the best Otah 's I ever had .. and it was the only dish that was wiped out clean .. heex ... XP

Rite now .. at home ... nthn much to do ... maybe play some KOTOR II ... but kinda sian .. just feel like slpn ... all the projects and exam seem to have killed me .. almost .. robbed me off my sleep .. only slept 3 hours plus this morning ...

Anyways .. tomorrow probably hanging out with WP & Chow .. so God .. please give me strength !!

Ocom Alas !!

Phew .. woke up at 6 am this morning just to prepare for Ocom .. bleah ... all of us were trembling like siao man ... We rehearsed a few times ... and tried to keep to our 15 min limit ...

We were the 4th group to present and as u know .. we were presenting on natural disasters .. haha .. yeah .. sounds boring ... the other grps did on topics like therapy, board games, nonya history and Stacy's group who did animation was really funny ... I was really amused ... Do-re-mi-chan -.- .... dotz ..

Just one day before, we did not have any props .. I managed to pluck a pink rose for Irin to present with .. then I had a torchlight and a globe ... and some masks while talking about fires .. XD ... lame ... it was really funny and I kept laughing but at least I made the audience laugh ... it's fine with me ...

After our presentations had ended .. we all heaved a huge sigh of relief ... phew ... one subject down ... 4 more to go !! ... Teacher also said that our entire class managed to chlk up lots of A's and B's .. that's good news to us ....

Later, Jeremiah, Vanessa, Aiqi, Wenru, James and Moi went to Macs at KAP ... ate burgers ... i think was the extra one .. everyone else ordered a McChicken .. while i had a quarter pounder ... XP ... malu ...

I put up a new song .. Beautiful Soul .. just wanna let everyone know the type of girl tha I go for =) ... listen to the song and guess please ... XP .. and wah liew .. how come in America can drive liddat one ... just watch the video .. XP .. unfair .. geez .. i really want to freakin drive already ... June is coming ... waits ...

Woah .. woke up late today but came to school an hour early .. XP .. haha .. didn't know what to do .. so i went to do my micro homework in the canteen all by myself ... it wasso freaking boring so i decided to head for the library to look for my frens ...

Went to see all of their projects .. woah .. very good ... anyways .. just before we headed for class ... we bought a box of pizza .. courtesy of Dixon Poon ... and we gulped it down just like that .. haha ...

Micro class was fun .. all of us laughing @.@ ... after my intense studying on micro .. i have been improving ... I got a D in my last test .. sobz .. but i got an A for the 2nd test .. of course i was happy -.- ... just before class .. i told aiqi .. my heart was like this .. "kedabak-kedapok" ... -.- ... siao hor .. anyways ... heaved a sigh of relief for the good news but i still have to worry for tomorrow's Ocom presentation and Bstats test on friday .. bleah !!

So after class, Raazi, Irin and me headed for the canteen to finish up our project ... it was really tedious .. we edited and added lots of slides .. now we have a total of 26 but there are no infos on the slides ... only pictures .... it's actually a good idea .. no words ... so the audience dun have to squint into the screen ... see we're so good .. help protect people's eyesight .. haha ... so our topic is on natural disasters ... all 3 of us have 5 minutes each to present .. XP ... i;m now preparing my script ... and i'm worried that i will over-talk .. wahlau .. liek that will die for sure ... now doing some research on the gulf stream =) ... actuall there's nothing to smile about =X ...

Ok .. so by 6:30 pm .. the slides have been completed and Irin and my script have been completed ... now we have Raazi's script left ... oei .. raazi ... JIA YOU !! .. haha ...

Oh yeah ... how can i forgot .. March 9 is a very very very EXTREMELY important day for me ... IT's my mom's birthday .. i didn't get to see her the whole day .. so I just wanna say Happy Birthday to her on my blog =) ... even if she doesn't read it .. it's the thought that counts ... hee hee

OMG! It's march already ... bleah .. its just reminding me of the exams that are coming !! arghh !! I can't take it anymore, I'm boiling under all the stress .. I still have an OB & OCOM presentation and 2 more common tests before the final exams ... the school is deliberatly trying to massacre her students ..

Anyways.. today we had our CIP presentation ... i was kinda dissapointed coz .. the music didn't load =( .. but overall the presentation went well .. I practically fell aslep durign lesson ... i was really tired from yesterday's volleyball match .. bleah ...

After class, we headed for SIM and had lunch there .. I practically gobbled down my food .. was godamn hungry man ... i had eggs and bread and more bread this morning and still not full ... *kicks tummy* ... o.O ... whatever ... then .. revided a little of my Micro ... test is on thursday .. arghh !! .. my head is gonna explode with all the MPP, TVC, AVC ... bla bla bla !

After lunch, headed for Block 50 and hung out outside class .. somewhere near the balcony ... Eileen said that we looked like we were musuem pieces .. cause ppl kept on walking past us and staring at us ... anything wrong with sitting on the floor meh ... Angeline and Yumei were watching Beauty & the Beast -.- .. while Dixon and me took a quick nap .... i tell u ... we were all realy pooped ... its usually like this at the end of the semester ..

OB class staretd soon after ... lesson was interesting ... teacher chim as always .. blabbing on stuff i really couldn't comrpehend ... absolute waste of valuable time ... but of course ... he was only doing his job rite ?

3:30 ... and class was over ... went home .. and tried not to sleep coz if i were to take a nap now .. i wouldn't be able to sleep at night .. so just beared with it. Wth TV again ... tried to keep myself awake and studied micro somemore ... should say 65% complete .. hmm .. ok ..

Later .. ordered KFC ad i was really famished ... i ate an entire family meal by myself ... heh heh ... hey !! .. after all, I'm still a growing boy ... rite ? .. no o.o .... pish tosh !!

Now it's almost 11 am .. and i still have more Micro to do .. so .. to all my classmates .. all the best ok ? .. so until my next entry ..

O Level Results released !!

Whoa .. a new week has begun and I have tests and presentations lined up .. geez .. it's gonna be tough for the next few weeks ... So ... God .. help me !!

The attendance for the OB lecture was pretty bad because some ppl were havin common tests and refused to turn up ... common tests are more impt ... yeah true actually .. haha .. did a survey during lecture ... I'm a Team Leader haha .. so were my other friends .. good .. luckily nobody was an authoritarion .. XP ..

We had lunch at Canteen 4 ... haven't eaten there for quite a while now .. makan makan .. had the bento for lunch .. the jap food at canteen 4 is awesome ... and oh yeah .. the weather was bloody hot .. and i had to wear my ambassador unifrom which was black .. haha ... can't tell u how many buckets of sweat i poured .. haha ..

Bstats tutorial went fine ... Mr Sonny Phua's son was collecting his results today haha ... he is in Chinese High .. so I dun really see any problems ... should get a single digit anyhow ... hopefully .. haha

After tutorial .. rushed off to the ambassador room and then quickly checked my name and eushed of to Bukit Batok Secondary ... went there to counsel students who were interested in coming to Ngee Ann ... Lots of emotional people .. some scored very well for their O levels .. and couldsee their tears of joy .. some were cying coz they didn't do well.. one girl scored straight A's .. but failed her maths ... very sad ... stayed there till 4 pm and then a lecturer dropped me at KAP since it was raining badly ...

Just as I was going home .. caught sigh of this actor .. from living with lydia .. the boy ... er joel i think O.o ... he was in NJC uniform ... hmm .. haha ... still dunno if it was him .. but they really looked identical .. twin brother XP .. whatever ...

Reached home ... got chanegd had late lunch and then headed of to school for my volleyball match ... bleah .. so tiring ... it was raining and i had doubts whether we could even play ... but didn't dissapoint my frens and went anyways ...

Volleyball was gruelling .. my entire team practice nedlessly but still got defeated ... i thought we did well coz we played much better than last week .. we imroved in our volleying; however, serving was still not good enuff .. we need to practice more on that area ... probably next week .. we will do more serving ... coz we always either hit the net or hit to far ... haha .. anyways .. it was still fun ... great job guys !!

Reached home and found my laptop wet .. someone spilled water over it .. .and now its short circuited ... arghh !! All my impt documents ... i had to ask Wei Png to help me .. probably go to his house someday to help me extract all the info bah .. hmm ...

Anyways .. very late already .. off to bad after this EXTREMELY LONG day ... so i'd beter get into bed now ... nite diary .. and faithful readers .. XP ..

Hey-ho !! .. What o.O ... i know i know .. -.- haven't updated in a week .. never mind .. i shall add entries for those i miss ok ... XP .... Ok .. lets start !!

Friday morning, late for school coz my chauffer was late -.- ... lesson started at 8 am and he came at 8 ... very da funny ... luckily i explained to my teacher .. or i would've been marked absent .. 20 minutes late .. nvm .. well the class started 8:15 anyways ... they oso late .. so actually .. *wait .. i let me press calculator and count .. dit dot dit dit* ... i only late for 5 minutes .. whoopee ...

For volleyball lesson today, we had a match ... and err .. my team won one and lost one ... but since everyone sux ... the person who could serve practically won the game -.- ... ya ... whadever ...

so .... after volleyball was lms .. -.- sian .. today we had to act .. our story was called Cinderfella ... with an f in the middle .. nono !! not the "F" word -.- ... i mean .. aiyah ... basically we did a reverse Cinderfella skit ... It's like Cinderella is a man nd the Prince is err .. a princess -.- .. yeah I acted as the princess .. and she was called chio bu -.- ... ... dun laff .. it's bad enuff that i was wearing a dress ...

After school, headed home. played some Resident Evil 4 ... this game is totally awesome ... I have the earlier RE games .. and even RE Zero didn't entice me enuff ... 1 stage and i was bored ... but RE 4 ... omg .. this is like so cool !! .. u ca buy weapons .. and more freedom like running and even interact with the environment ... like .. erm throw ladders down .. crash into a window ... do crazy kicks and punches ... steer a motor boat .. today i managed to kill of my fist boss .. some creature thingie .. apparently, had to use hooks -.- .. lame .. to kill it off ... and worse .. it kicked me out of the boat -.- ... and OH YEAH !! one fun thing .. before the boss battle, i was standing near the lake .. i went to the toilet and when i returned, i managed to see the fish monster come out of the lake and eat me up .. i was like OMG !!! ... I haven't even entered the boss arena and it can still attack me ... was pissed off but surprised that the game caught me off guard ....

Went for tennis, budden, coach went for holidays so i went home to play somemore RE4 ... this time fought a troll which looked so much like the one in LOTR ... den i managed to save the president's daughter .. she's kinda annoying somehow ... coz u have to protect her also .. but omg ... Cpacom gave her .. BIG boobs .. seriously huge .. at least a C-cup man >.< ... ok nvm ... hee hee .. carried off topic ...

Spent the whole day watching tv .. was kinda resting la .. coz the whole week was very exhausting and furthermore, i still haven't recovered from my flu and cough .. sigh .. Mom & Dad are coming home tomorroe from shanghai ... whoppee =D ... now i can get my allowance ... lol .. jking .. not so mean la ... anyways ... can't wait for tomorrow...

x( ... what a terrible day it has been, I fell sick .. bleah .. i missed my lms and volleyball this morning .. what a bummer .. I really couldn't sleep throughout the whole night coz my nose ws all blocked and my throat was raw ... geez ... how did this happen ... anyways .. tried to sleep somemore but couldn't ...( i woke up every 2 hours this morning ) ... so at 11 am .. i couldn't take it anymore and went to see Doctor Huang at Thompson Plaza ...

Bla bla ... the usual remedy ... i think i do too much sports liao @.@ .. and worse still, the exams are creeping closer than ever ... i think i'm going to have a burnout XD ...

Okay ... so later back at home .. went to study for the Micro test next week .. haiya .. den kinda bored .. so chatted with Dixon on the phone .. and called everyone else .. erm .. Aiqi .. Wenru .. who else ahz .. i forgot o.o ... ok .. so studying was really boring -.- ... so did the next best thing ... SLEEP !!

I tried to sleep lah .. but only managed 2 hours of it .. the rest of the day, i just snuggled in bed .. trying my best to sleep ... i was happy that it rained today .. wouldn't be blasted hot and no more bushfires ...

Talking about bush fires ... i'm really getting concerned about our planet's situation .. Global warming is at an all time high and even the Kyoto Protocol isn't helping much ... the US is also being negligient about this .. oh well ... i'll be happy to live under water 50 years from now -.- .. not that it will happen ...

So, after i woke up .. went straight to my mom's room and i managed to catch a movie. It was a an awesome movie that i would rate 10/10 ... its called ... "Empire of the Sun" .. and the main actor .. Christian Bale ..is so damn good .. and he was only a 12 year-old boy man .. well he is all grown up now .. that movie was made in 1987 .. haha .. the year i was born !! ... anyways ... he's gonna be our new Batman .. cool .. here's the review of the movie ...

It happened when the 4 of us were having a LAN party at Wei Png house .. I think I posted it up before a few months o but left out this hilarious part. So, thx Wei Png for not forgetting .. haha !!

I was just thinking about one of the party i had at the end of last year...where Cheehow, Chee Kiat and Winston came over with their computers.One night we're making LOTTAS jellies...yesh...guys making jelly...and turned the entire kitchen up-side-down.Since it's RIGHT after our promos, all that's in our brain is PHYSICS/CHEMISTRY/MATHS!

So as expected, we're talking non-stop about it...even when dissolving jelly powder...we're treating it as chemistry experiment, measure the exact volume to 2 d.p, measure the temperature and Ksp (solubility product from Chemistry)Once, we wanted to clean up the jelly stains on the spoon, so we're debating about using which subject is the MOST efficient.

Chee How suggested tat we should use Physics; topic-Temperature, as he's best at physics use hot water and provide enough energy to the jelly that's sticked to the spoon. When it has gained enough energy, it will undergo a change of stage from SOLID to LIQUID, then run dilute water over it and it'll come off easily.

Chee Kiat suggested using Bio, as he's best at BIO...dunno wat break down the molecules into simpler substances and so on...haha...he's the only one who took bio...so we dun really understand him...haha...

I suggested that we should use Chemistry; topic Ionic-Equilibrium, where we allow the residue(jelly stain) to under go a chemical reaction with HCL acid. But since we don't have such a strong acid, we found Vinegar(weak dilute acetic acid)...so we have to calculate the concentration and Ka value of the acid first, before deciding how much volume to use.

As Winston's the only person among us who's NOT in JC, naturally he don't understand what chim A lvl stuffs we're talking about.

While the 3 of us are debating about which subject is the MOST efficient...Winston snatched the spoon and said 'Aiya, let's use ENGLISH: Wipe the spoon with a tissue paper'Upon saying that, he wiped the spoon clean with a tissue paper...and leave the 3 of us A lvl students laughing like mad in embrassment...lolx...

Anyway, a short entry for Sunday, went swimming as usual .. and then to the gym. Bla. bla .. ok .. so the rest of the day, I spent my time doing my homework.

Later, at night, was still doing homework budden was kidna bored, so went to watch TV ... manage to caatch the apprentice 2 ... but kinda slow the series ... I already knew the winner .. Bah .. but I still watched it anyways.

I spent the whole night chatting with people online .. oso had fun with jeremiah and vanessa .. those 2 are really crazy people .. know when to have fun .. and also serious people .. i think .. haha .. dunno lah ...

Oh yeah, saw KL online but I didn't know that he was in the airport and I didn;t even know he left the country !!

This reminds me .. last time i was in melbourne .. I had to help the SIA lounge install MSN Messanger .. so funny ... coz i was in the lounge for quite a while .. so i installed lots of thing on the com .. haha .. i brought one of my games and installed them in too .. haha ..

Golf With Dad XD

Woke up at 10 am this morning, haha , was a little exhausted from yesterday but hey !! I'm gonna play golf with y dad today ... yeah .. but kinda scared .. coz I haven't played for almost a year! Haha! OKOK .. let's no degrade me any further ...

So at abt 11 - 12 pm, we left for Island Club at Sime Road. For a saturday, the club was awfully quiet. Sheesh, and I thought it was gonna be crowded. Then, i realised, it was CNY, everyone was robabaly on vacation in Batam or even the Bahamas ... and Monte Carlo too !! .. I want to go there! Got nude beach .. heh heh! XP

Anyways, the game was err .. ok la .. whad do u expect me to hit ... 1,000 metres when I'm still in bad shape. I managed to get good shots in the beginning and at the end, but in the middle of the game, the weather was kinda hot .. terribly hot and I was sweating like a horse .. or pig .. whatever ...

Everyone else didn't seem bothered .. huh .. maybe it was just me! hehz .. anyhoooo !! I had fun during the game ... I think, I hit abt 70+ balls before calling it a day! .. It was fun stuff !!

Ok, so I went back home and the next thing, I went to swim .. hehz ... erm .. my mom did tell me not to wear my speedos .. I didn't care .. hahaha .. still wore them .. coz very shuang mahz .. what !! ... no ! I'm not trying to show anything off !! >.< ... aiyah .. whatever !!

Later, oso went to gym again, kinda lazy but still have to do mahz ... after my workout .. got home took a warm bath and ahhz ... stayed there .. and almost fell asleep --" ... erm .. moving on ...

I spent the rest of my day practically doing nothing la .. sat on my chair and stare at my com .. until abt 6 pm then, Mom got us to get ready to watch movie at Great World. We were going to watch I do I do !! ... haha .. should be unny i guess .. we'll see ..

We dropped by the boutique first and Mom went to do smthn while we waited for dad .. he was having a massage upstairs.

Okay, after everything was done, we rushed of to the cinema. Ok, so we watched the movie, I was suprised to see so many couples in the theatre .. young ones, old ones ... i felt like an outcast -.- I'm still single... bud bud bud !! SINGLE rulz man !! .. haha .. well .. anyways .. I DO I DO .. is a good movie but i thot that THE BEST BET was still better ...

This movie you should definitely watch, its a local movie so u should also feel proud right ? ... RIGHT ? ... arghh .. nvm .. -.- ...

Just as I was abt to leave, saw Geoffrey, I didn't see him coz he was at the Gold Class Lounge till Mom told me. Haha .. he was watching Constantine .. I also have to watch that movie !!!

Back at home, went online again .. bla bla ... just spent a few horus online and soon I was in bed. Recently I have been sleeping rather well. I have ben having a slight case of insomnia lately but it seems to have dissapeared ... maybe because I have been exercising alot ... wait .. go toilet ...

Okay .. back .. erm as i was saying .. u work out a lot .. and then ur body gets tired at the end of the day and when its time to sleep .. PLOP .. u fall asleep at a snap of ur fingers .. simple as that .. so try do do some sports .. but dun overdo it ... sekali u cant wake up for school tomorrow -.- hasn't happen to me yet .. but who knows right ?

Sports Galore

Phew ... today was really a tough but fun day for me ... haha .. let me explain ... ok so there was school today and I had Vollleyball in the morning ... yeah .. kinda sucky rite .. u were just enjoying CNY yesterday and then BAM ... u have to run around the track in the morning .. bleah .. anyways .. kinda fun anyways ... the volleyball part .. not the PT part -.- ...

After Volleyball, was LMS Class ... yeah the whole period we were dicussing the script for our project .. we had t0 act .. and .. I am going to act as a princess ... har-de-har .. yeah .. but no glass slippers please -.- ... after that ... school ended !! ... I had lunch with Dixon .. before I left ...

Once I reached home, I went to the gym ... have only started this recently .. abt 2 weeks now .. yeah I realised that I was shrinking ... and My Mom wants me to beef up .. and my dad even asked me to eat a burger everyday .. how nice -.- .. not ... haha .. but yeah worked out for abt 35 minutes .. then went home for a quick bite !!

Later, I took out my swimming trunks to swim .. trunks . .as in speedos ... I ever swam in that before .. I always use those shorts ... anyways .. it just felt weird and funny .. I was like 90% naked .. haha .. anyways ... yeah so I swam for abt 1 and a half hours ... then Derek joined me ... had fun ... then we raced on the floats that were meant for emergency use only .. XD .. we had so much fun !! .. but yeah also had to swim laps -.- .. anyway .. when I cam home .. my mom saw me in my speedos .. she almost killed me !! .. HAHA .. she said that it was too revealing -.- .. and I thot only girls had such problems ... haha .. anyways .. she banned me from wearing it at the pool at home ... with the Island Club pool as an exception ... even though it's ironic that the club has more people o.O ...

Oh well ... Had lunch .. yeah I was so freakin hungry .. I polished the entire plate ... then Tennis !! I wen to the club .. played solo today with Coach .. I was stilll a bit inconsistent .. perfect shots at base line .. but weak at the 3/4 court ... need more practice ... and my volley was better today ... yay .. Played a game later ... didn't followed the rules .. haha .. so the scores were all funny .. 4-2 & 3-2 .. okay la ..

I was ready to retire for the day .. and it was only 6pm .. bleah .. but mom wanted my bro and me to go out for family dinner .. Mom went to the boutique first .. i forgot what for .. o.o .. haha !! .. then later .. jaln jalan all the way to Paragon -.- ... har-de-har .. had dinner .. not bad .. tried a new jap restaurant ... and all I had was a teriyaki plate ... and some sushi .. coz suddenly all my appetite just dissapeared .. weird huh ..

Anyways .... it was a fun day ... I think my body is gonna start aching badly tomorrow after this crazy day .. but guess what !! going to play golf with my dad tomorrow morning ... XD ... yeah .. so what if I suck at it .. practice makes perfect !!

CNY 2005 - Day One

OMG! Chinese New Year is here already !! It's really fast .. I remembered CNY 2004 just like it was yesterday ... well sort of la -.- .. anyways .. there's this really erm .. wonderful feeling .. its undescribable ...

So ... I woke up at 5 am this morning to prepare for the battlefield today ... yeah a battlefield .. I'll explain as we go along .. so we left our house at abt 7 plus i think .. yeah i oso dunno why i woke up so early ... silly me !! XP ... first stop was my great grandmother's house ..

We've been doing that since .. erm forever ... its a tradition .. the extended family would come and have breakfast .. and greet my great grandma since she was like da err .. leader of the pack o.O .. whatever .. i mean u know what i mean right .. based on seniority and stuff liddat ... haha .. so after breakfast ... it was pilgrimage time .. sort of -.-

We visited 4 or was it 5 houses from 8 to abt 10 am i think ... collected lots of ang bao's ... all my little cousins were ripping the little red packets open .. haha .. so from Grange Road to Holland Road and so on and on .. we visited our relatives !! ..

After that we returned to my grad mother's house .. not GREAT grandma ... just grandma .. and it was our relatives turn to visit us .. well my grandparents .. haha .. had lunch and an hour break i think .. all the time .. I was playing the piano .. really kinda boring .. I only play the piano when I'm bored .. and of all days to get bored ... so later, we went home and now the start of my father's side ... all my cousin from my fathers side started coming .. and we had a proper lunch ... yeah also collected more ang bao's .. haha !! XP

After lunch and stuff, we all went back to my grandparent's house .. so both families met .. haha .. after that ... we went to visit our relatives from my father side ... so we visited till late afternoon ... I met so many of my relatives .. and I don't recognise many of them .. and I didn't even know some of them even existed .. haha ..

Okay after this exhausting trip ... we went home and went to rest .. I took a nap .. bleah ... it was all too hectic .. I was woken up at abt 7 pm by children screams .. my cousins ... we were having a family dinner .. my mom's side .. yeah lots of fun ... haha ... and more ang baos !!!

Anyways, today was really a fun day and as for tomorrow .. I hope I can survive it !! .. haha .. ciao for now !!

On a Saturday Morn .. yawn

Fell sick this morning ... had to skip the whole amb lunch sigh -.- .... nvr mind .. at least still had chow and png at my house ... felt very guilty for not going coz ... aiyah nvm ...

So we played monopoly ... yeah .. anything wrong ... just totally shit out by yesterday's event ... and yeah I was feeling all groggy the whole morning ... bleah ... no one won in the end .. we just wanted Derek to lose ... thats our goal .. lol

After our gam,e of monopoly ... chow left .. and soon there were just 2 left -.- ... I felt a little better .. so went to swim a bit with Png and Derek ... can't do much .. just lie about in the pool .. then haha had a few games ... nthn much ... I think we stayed there till 4pm .. skipping a proper lunch altogether !!

After swimming and all that .. time for us to settle down .. so we went up to my room and just practically did nothing .. oh yeah made cards .. and yeah just made cards for CNY and Valentine's Day .. lol .. whereas Derek who had no special someone .. was playing gunbound -.- ... dotz ...

Later ... felt kinda bored so went down to play the piano ... haha .. I think I composed 2 new pieces .. my own creation .. and had it recorded too !! whee .. maybe i try to upload it another time !!

Yeah .. anyways after we finished our cards .. Wei Png had to go .. aww bye-bye .. and now there's just one ugly duckling left ... ME !! .. what i do ? .. SULK ALL DAY ... why ... dunno

Anyways ... it was a fun day but still can't go over the feeling of missing the amb lunch ... =( ... sorry u guys ..

Today was the last day of our Common Tests and the module today was CIP ... wee .. so yeah I studied till 3 am last night -.- ..

Okay .. so the paper was fine .. and I thought I did pretty well myself .. YAY .. so did everyone else -.- .. after all its just an hour paper .. what can go wrong o.o ...

So, later .. Yusof was late . .AGAIN .. had to wait until I got so fed up that I just hailed a cab and got home 15 inutes before my tennis game !! .. geezus ... well .. we were going to have a bbq today btw ... so I quickly changed tomy Tennis outfit and still no Yusof .. -.- .. haiya .... it was too late for a cab .. and no car -.- ... so luckily grandma came ... got her chauffer .. Ghani .. to send me there ! .. Luckily, I wasn't late .. or else coach would have thwacked me with balls .. XP ...

Since, Derek wasn't playing .. I had the whole court to myself .. we did lots of rallying .. and sigh .. work on my volleying ... its like a counter attack .. but u just need to use a little bit of power .. too much will kill the ball .. to little .. err .. also kill the ball -.- ... haha ...

Ok ok .. I had a great game today .. not bad .. but was very exhausted coz i didn't eat much .. due to the exams .. and tennis pretty much drained me of my remaining energy .. sigh ..

So, now .. Yusof was available ... fetched me home .. yada yada ... didn't have to time to bathe .. and then followed Mom to IKEA to buy some lighting stuff and the tantalising swedish meatballs !! ... I think I bot 20 pcs o.o ... Mom bot 20 pcs of pancakes -.- ... nthn to sae already .. XP

Wei Png was already waiting for me when I reached home .. and oh yeah ... Beverly and Pacific ( and the family of course ) .. were moving out .. so sad .. they've been fun neighbours ... ** moment of silence ** ... ok .. moving on ...

Png and Me went for a walk since the bbq wasn't ready till 8 pm ... walking around the neighbourhood .. and png was just babling non-stop abt cars 0-0 ...

When we returned .. ppl started coming already .. and before long we all started .... really alot of people .. very fun .. also had lots of gourmet food .. haha .. I only managed to have one plate .. while everyone else had like wtf !! .. 3 plates or even 4 @.@ ... smthn really wrong with my stomach liao .. anyways .. we went to pick chee how up ... he couldn't even recognise us when we walked about 3 metres away from him .. haha .. anyways .. was glad that he came tho ...

After dinner was over .. i mean for us la.. coz the adults still eating and some people were still late .. we went to play err .. Police & Thief .. i know i know ... childsh -.- .. but godamn fun .. first round .. 18yo boys catch 15 yo boys ... we win ... 2nd round ... 15yo boys catch 18 yo boys .. we win oso -.- HAR !!

After the bbq was over .. everyone left yeah .. all good things must come to an end ... so everyone left ... but Wei Png stayed over ... and chee how stayed on too later when we couldn't finish our game of risk by 12 midnight .. so we continued playing until ehz... 2 am i think o.o .. and after that we even had late supper -.- ... ice-cream to be precise ..

Haha ... so that's how my day went .. tomorrow I'm gonna join the ambassadors for lunch with the principal at the Grand Hyatt .. woot .. cya later ... !!

Haha .. not really going to have a long entry today so I decided to add some few things to keep my blog going .. ok ... here goes .. =)

Ever wonder whats so special about people who were born in 1987 ? .. I mean u guys dun really bother or care right ... It's just that ur born in that year .. so ? .. well yeah I thot the same at first budden .. I went to do some research .. haha .. just to see how special are people who were born in 1987 .. so ... I went to get 5 reasons why we are lucky to be born in the year 1987 .... read on !!

1) National Service to be cut by 6 months ...

Yay ... thi is or guys actually .. so we dun have to do 2.5 years .. just 2 years .. that saves us 6 whole months u noe ... well not really exclusive to us .. but hey . .we are the first few to be able to enjoy this ... haha ... rite ? o.o .. well for some I guess ...

2) The Polytechnic curriculum reduced ...

Well .. now that we can graduate months earlier ... isn't that cool .. and what more .. we are the first batch .. yeah I know lots of stress but the good news is that we can graduate earlier .. and for Univeristy hopefulls ... u dun have to wait for another whole year to get into uni ...

3) Primary 1 Chinese Textbooks revamped ..

All of us who were in Primary 1 back in 1994 could heave a sigh of relief cause Chinese was made easier ... coz we were the first to use the new han yu pin yun books .. that is to make the chinese textbooks more easier to read and understand .. adn erm lower failure rate ..

4) English 'O' Level Exams ...

The 2003 batch which actually consists a majority of 1987-born children were thelast to take the English O Level exam for its day ... now the more harder paper which has 2 compres and erm .. things to do with brochures and more marks awarded to vocal ability has replaced the old one ... say lucky cause lesser stress back then ...

5) Driving .. vroom .. vroom ... *coff*

The 1987 batch is also the lst batch to be able to drive legally at the age of 18 .. well yeah ... as for the 1988 batch ... u can only drive when u are 21 ... its a bit sad actually.. anyways .. its official and I went to check .. so better start preparing to get ur driving licenses ... yay .. and yeah .. go and get some car catalogues .. so u may wanna know what car u plan to drive or dream to drive !!

... haha .. so u see .. so many lucky things for us .. I'm extremely delighted with the last one .. yay .. can drive .. -.- that's if I get my license or if my mom will ever let me on the road ... the last thing she wants me to do .. is fly into the longkang .... err .. please dun try to picture that ... *shivers* ...

Yo ... ehz .. what shuld I write today .. well lots to write for today .. seem to be da busiest day of my week .. ok .. so I woke up at 10 am today .. wait .. went to the toilet and then back to sleep and woke up again at noon time =X ....

Haha .. anyways I would have continued sleeping if Wei Png didn't come .. well .. yeah so he came and luckily I woke up just a few minutes before he came ... orelse .. .forget it XP ... ok .. so once he arrived .. we went to swim ... and heel we swam for like 2 hours plus .. well actually talking for 1 hour .. about cars ... watches .. and erm .. girls .. =.= .. ok nvm ... anyways .. talkingabout cars .. I just realies that the 1987 batch is the last batch to get to drive at the age of 18 ... the 1988 batch will have to wait till their 21 .. sad right ... I dunno what I wanna drive .. maybe a sports car or smthn .. or maybe just drive a cab la .. -.- ... XP ...

Ok .. so later after that we had lunch .. ya .. ans then hmm later just id nothing for a while .. Derek's friend Philip also came ... they were going to their friend's birthday party who lived nearby also .. we played some stuff for a while ... then what else . .GB again !! haha .. and then .. aiyah it was just lame la XD ...

Later, when Derek left to go to his friend's B-day party .. Png and Me went for a walk .. first we walked to see my new house !! .. OMG .. ican't believe I'm going to move house ... sigh .. can't wait .. lei .. just a few more months !! .. hmm .. ok later we walked all the way to Greenwood there .. and had some ice-cream ... I think we walked until erm .. somewhere near Jean's house there .. o.o .. then .. after that we turned back and took a very long way to go home .. lol .. Wei Png was grumbling .. Since my house required us to walk up a hill .. we were damn pooped so we just sat at the middle of the hill and pour Pepse ICE on the ground and see whose will reach the botom of the slope first .. and yah .. mine won ... heh heh .. -.- not funny .. So ... while I was playing .. Dixon called and then I just sat in my living room with my Bstats notes .. we revised and discussed till 1:30 am .. close to 2 am ... We managed to finish everything in 2 and half hours .. wow .. what a accomplishment .. haha .. tomorrow .. we'll probably do Micro ... oh yeah to all NP students .. good luck with your CTs !!! ..

So Pika and me later went down to the underpass .. near Wisma that one .. and munched a bit .. Today I learned that Pika doesn't like Chilli .. so do I .. so didn't really make a point here .. haha ..

Anyways .. I reached home quite eraly and spent the whole night GBing .. haha .. yeah .. I stopped Gunbound since last August .. now I have started again .. but not every hour of the day .. just 1 hour is all that I can take ..

I hope I can start studying tomorrow ... common test is just days away !! .. XP ...

NP Open House - Final Day

Today is the first day of our term (study) break, but still many of our students came back to school on this day to help out at the open house ... I was already awake at 6:45 am just to make sure that I would be in school early .. and also to avoid the traffic jam ... caused by the Open House ... so arriving 2 hours earlier before Open House started ... the ambassadors got to work packing the Hellp Pada biscuits ... lol ... Renee was so estatic waiting for the truck to come x_x ... ok .. so later .. the facility tours and convention people moved to the convention centre .. by 9 smthn ... people were already here .. and smthn told me that this was gonna be a long day xp ...

I was assigned to bus 6 again ... yay .. same bus as on Day 1 .. but today with Teoxu and Ashley ... haha .. all of the FT people were crapping around as one by one .. we were deployed .. haha .. welcome to Terrorland ... sigh .. ok so I started off first and ok .. I thought everything went fine ... I found that people today were less responsive than on Thursday and there were more parents today =D ... erm .. actually its bad news lah .. but still they listen to you .. haha ... wait o.o .. they ask lot of questions lei !! .. x_x ...

Nvm .. so after a few rounds .. we were given lunch .. Penny went around with a bus handing out our packed lunches .. today's food was a bit spicy that I had to go to the loo for about 20 mins .. haha . luckily I didn't miss my bus or anything ...

I spent half of my time today at the ICT stop .. coz thats where I changed shift .. I think I was the lucky one .. coz they had Macs there .. so we were never deprived of food ... I also got to meet some ICT people .. like .. Jessie and Mad .. they were all cool and wonderful people !! .. Hopefully we'll get to see them again .. haha ...

Oh yeah .. later in the afternoon, I helped out at the Convention Centre ... I met Wei Png and actually mistook his J2 friends for O level Leavers .. eeps .. haha .. I also met my relative .. Yun Jin .. she's a year younger than me .. but she's my auntie .. lol !! Haha .. some of our fellow ambassadors were donning the full Ngee Ann Poly Uniform and we got to see the new blazers as the ywere just recently replaced from cyan to navy blue .. cool .. oh yeah Stacy also came botherning me T-T ... haha .. no lah .. nice to see her bubbly face .. thx stacy for brightening up my day !! .. and u wore yellow some more !!

Anyways, the day ended well .. We had a total of 16,000 + visitors for the 3 days of Open House !! .. 2,000 more than last year !! .. woot !! ... haha .. and the ambassadors did such a good job that we were treated to lunch at the Fullerton Hotel with Mr. Chia .. our principal !! ... sigh .. I feel kinda sad and happy at the same time that the Open House is over ... sad that I won't enjoy all the crazy things we guys did .. well at least we still have next year @.@ .. and happy that we did a goiod job and that I can sleep late tonight and wake up late tomorrow morning .. haha !!

NP Open House - Day One

Woah ... first of all .. I am a school ambassador .. nothing really glam abt it ... haha ... i think more like slavery ... but with pay .. lol .. anyways ... I reported at Corpcomm very early this morning to prepare ourselves for the open house .. I was deployed to the facilities tour department with Hanni ( pox ) .. and Yiting .. haha .. we are a united group yea .. and we were the guardians of bus 6 !! .. The full ambassador team was here today .. donning the .. erm .. prominent ? .. ambassador polo .. actually not bad la ...

Later for the Facility Tours ambassadors, we did a dry run around the campus .. yet everyone was still very nervous .. for many of us .. this is our first time serving at the open house .. so we were really kinda excied and frightened at the same time .. haha ... In the beginning, Bus 1, 2 and 3 were deployed since there weren't many people around yet ... my bus only came intp service just after noon time .. haha .. so shuang .. do nothing for 3 hours neh ..

Yiting started first while I ran over to the ICT block to await my bus .. so basically .. we had 6 stops and my group would have a member stational at every 3 interval stations .. and one of us will take over the other even though we still stopped at all 6 stops .. so actually everyone of us had to talk for 3 stops .. non-stop .. thats like 25-20 minutes ba ... my first time was rather scary .. I wasn't really confident enough and didn't really dare to approach the people in the bus ... I was talking more about the facilities than the courses offered in Ngee Ann .. really bad ... but I managed to get my momentum going soon after and after that .. everything was fine ..

So, we just did this from noon time till 5 pm ... so basically 5 hours of bus touring ... bleah .. but I admit it .. it was kinda fun ... while I was not on the bus .. I helped out at the convention centre coz there were too many people there ... kaoz .. and some of them were our own students ... apparently they wanted to take our goodie bags .. i was like .. u noe .. its just a bottle of water .. some snacks and brochures .. u have to beg just for these stuffz .. o.o .. sigh .. anyways . .those of u who want the goodie bags .. pls i remind you .. we can;t give it to you .. pls try and help make our jobs easier .. we always have trouble diffrientiating you guys from the genuine "O" level leaver s u noe and sometimes we mix them both up and the genuine one's get mistaken for being NP students lei ...

Aiyah .. so anyways .. it was a shaky start for us today .. coz .. got lots of newbies mah . but after the debriefing session .. we all learnt from our mistakes and worked even harder that night to ensure that tomorrow would be a much better day for us ... i wish ... so .. right now I'm crazy enough to read up on all the courses and hopefully manage to answer this question that has been asked countless times ... Why is our track blue in colour ? ...

Hell of a Day

Phew .. today wasreally a tiring day man .. lots of stuff to do ... CIP was kinda relaxing today. Teacher just asked us to do a mini-exercise the whole 3 hours and gave us the rest of the time to discuss the new PBL that he had just released to us ... another presentation .. oh brother .. yaya .. but it was ok .. I was kinda bored .. so I went to draw a a map of a country using paint lol .. lame ..

After CIP, the class split up .. I followed Dixon, Angeline, Yumei and Eileen to Canteen 1 .. coz the were going to fix their lappie's at Mel .. so did I .. My lappie had no internet connection and I was unable to submit my homework because of this .. haha .. alas .. the problem was just because I did set the connection to open .. haiya .. for almost 6 months .. finally today I fixed the problem .. and an easy one somemore ..

Later, we went back to Block 50 and sat outside the classroom to talk as we were an hour early for OB tutorial .. nothn much to say abt the tutorial .. only that I was drawing again .. this time on paper .. haha ..

After lesson ended .. I went home to get changed for S&W and be back in time at 5 pm to attend an award ceremony for the top scorers of our school .. apparently Angeline, Vanessa and Erly won .. yeah and best of all Erly came back to see us to see us ... of course we were all so excited to see .. her .. haha .. she didn't change one little bit .. only more pimples .. lol .. ok so later we went to the Lecture Hall ... and while our prize winners were double-checking their name .. I chanced upon MY name !! lol .. I was toally shocked and almost fainted ... lol .. had won a prize too and I didn't know it .. lol .. yay .. Me and Erly were the best performers for Wcom for the BFS Group .. cool .. lol and I was so unprepared .. I think I was the only guy wearing PE shorts .. lol ..

Ok .. so after the award thingie .. Raazi, me, Erly and Dixon went to Canteen 2 for erm .. late lunch I guess .. haha .. talked alot of crap ... haha .. so fun to have Erly there .. so sad that she had to leave tomorrow .. oh bleah .. wish her all the best though !!

At 7 pm .. Raazi and me went for Volleyball attachment ... it was well ... godamn fun .. though I was rather doubtful about it in the first place. Yeah ... so we played until about 9 pm before it was called a day .. haha

Then, I went back to the ambassador room to help up with the remaining stuff that needed to be cleared .. it was fun stapling stuff .. and lots of people were there .. I think we went on till 10 pm before our President, Penny .. asked us to go home to charge ourselves for tomorrow .. It's gonna be a hell of a day tomorrow ..

This morning I dreamt of something weird ... It took place between 1:30 - 3:30 pm ... haha .. yeah I know I wake up very late .. anyways ..My dream is kinda long so I'll probably post it up in 2 or 3 parts .. so here is my first part .. enjoy ..

I had a weird dream today ... went to some european country .. sightseeing .. forgot most of this part .. apparently this dream happened a few weeks ago and was replayed again .. today my dream did a quick playback and left me where i last ended ... so we went on a ferry to get to the other ide of the city .. the Vienna Rhine ... it looked more like Venice ... and the gondolas looked more like over-sized mattress ... It was amazing and we met our tour guide .. she worked for my dad's company .. dunno what corporation ... its just a dream lar .. so we were treated like VIPs .. We arrived the hotel soon after .. It looked old yet majestic. It was a wonderful place .. warm and cozy .. and we got our room on the 3rd floor .. if i remember it was Room 1437 .. hmm must buy 4D .. so we unpacked everything and perpared to leave and I asked my parents and my bro to leave first while I unpacked went to get smthn I left in the toilet .. They told me to go to Room 3533 near the lobby .. i oso dunno why .. anyways, I took the lift down .. which was more like a early 20th century lift .. and found my way to Room 3533 .. It was like a clinic or hospital .. and I was shocked that there were nurses caring for babies in some of the rooms .. something was not right and it was like my instincts .. then suddenly an old and plump nurse approached me and wanted me to take a flu vaccine .. I was so sucpicious that I blocked her advance .. she was trying to attack me .. omg !! She managed to inject less than a quarter of the transparent fluid before I screamed .. I told her that I wanted to do it myself because I was scared of the nurse ... she winced at me suspiciously but gave it to me anyways .. what can a young boy like me do .. So I took it and jabbed her !! .. She screeched and flung it away but before she could gain her footing .. I pushed her into a storeroom ... she was really enraged and her veins popping .. she quickly whipped out another needle with brown fluids in it .. she tried to attack me again but I managed to wrestle it away from her .. how i did it .. don't ask me .. so I took it and jabbed her again .. This time she didn't scream .. she wailed and gave a horrible roar !! Her face started to contort into a vampire .. like the one in buffy the Vampire Slayer ... I was freaked out and went to hide behind the junction corner and found 2 frying pans .. I took it and waited for her to come this way .. well she did and I swacked her like there was no tomorrow .. she died without putting up any struggle ... and there was blood everywhere .. her face was so deformed and the frying pans were all bloody. It was gross ... just beyond my imagination .. then I thought .. hmm .. I could hide her in the closet .. buy me some time .. and then leave as if I had already taken the injection .. I would presume that everyone in the hotel was one of those creatures .. I slowly walked outside catching a few stares from some people but they didn't bother .. so I saw my family and ran to them ... alas my parents looked 20 years younger and donning semi-gothic suits .. and I realised that they had become one of them .. I didn't bloody hell knew what I was doing and approached them geez .. We just stared at each other .. oh yeah .. btw .. my brother was missing from the picture .. dunno what happened to him .. maybe Part 3 neh .. ok .. so they eyed me suspicously and then I broke the cold by asking them about Room 3533 and the injection .. then they let down their gazes .. the thought I was one of them now .. phew .. then we saw a water cooler .. there was alot of salt .. probably evaporation .. then suddenly a police officer came .. he had noticed my parents clothes .. they were out of the norm .. and for no reason .. I suddenly knew about everything ... the police knew about the vampire problems but did not have any solid evidence against them .. so they just had to be more observant ... The officer came up to me and saw me meddling with the water fountain .. He was shocked when he saw the salts .. he'd probably failed his science .. dun even know what evaporation is .. haha .. stupid .. and he went to ask .. hmm .. what is this strange powder .. and then I went on to explain to him about evaporation .. he was a little skeptical but never-the-less .. let us go with a warning .. don't act weird on the streets or people think that you're one of them .. this incident just helped to confirm my earlier suspicions .. they were really vampires !!

Back to reality ... anyways .. today was a boring day ... I spent most of my day struggling with Bstats ... haha but I have already completed it .. sort off .. still finishing of the last question ... haha

Anyways, Mom cooked today !! Cool .. we had japanese curry, abalone, prawn fritters, and some tasty soup lol ... haha .. I just felt happy that mom cooked today .. dunno why .. just can't answer it ...

Right now, I'm on the phone with Wei Png ... talking about dreams .. lol .. and chatting on-line .. nthn else to do .. I'll probably sleep earlier today .. 12 am ... o.O .. that's really early for my standards ..

The Attack of The Casino !!

Many people know that Singapore is preparing to open its first ever Casino and it has created alot of controversy among singaporeans; however, it seemd that the government is going to go ahead with the plan and set upa a casino.

In my opinion, having a casino is fine, but I'd rather that restrictions are imposed. Make the Casino an exclusive club and the only way in .. is to pay for a membership card ( Like Island Club liddat ) .. and try attaching an entertainment complex or a resort to the casino .. that way people won't just sit down there and continously pull the slot machines 24/7 .. imagine that .. you grandma dissapears for days and you find her in the casino .. practically living there ...

Call me conservative all you want ... but I think that this is the best approach to saveguard our citizens. Look, the government opening a casino is already bold enough ... and this favour that the PAP is not well appreciated by the public ... huh ... so wou win some .. and you lose some ..

Anyways, why da hell did I have to blabber about this casino stuff, well .. today my class had a table topic session ... so we all discussed about several interesting and current topics ... and we did the casino this week .. and of course we were all graded .. hows that ..

Many people came out with good points on why we should have the Big C and why we shouldn't have ... after that session, I shifted my stance from pro-casino to coservative ... haha doesn't mean I don't want i ... but if I were the PM ... I'd rather build a Universal Studios or even Disney Land .. lol .. at least it would appeal to the masses ...

Haha .. ok .. i think I did pretty well .. but not excellent .. I fumbled abit and I was pulling my sleeves al the o.O .. *ahem* .. anyways .. I think on the whole .. the majority did beter than the week before .. good job everyone !!

Bleah .. I planned to go to school today but after making 2 trips to the toilet at 3:30 and 6:00 am in the morning, I knew I wasn't able to go on. So, I went to sleep again and made another 2 trips at 9:00 and 11:12 pm ... bleah .. I woke a 5th time at 12:30 pm and that was it .. I didn't go back to sleep but camped in the toilet for the next 2 hours .. hapily reading my pile of emergency magazines .. where got people so jia lat like me one .. sian

The whole afternoon, I stayed in my Mom's room to watch TV .. why there .. coz the toilet was just 1.5 meters away .. so I could just drop a bomb in there whenever I wished ... haha .. but my mom was complaining about the stench .. oh well .. what to do .. haha .. put on a gas mask ? Ok .. super lame .. so TV was a total bore but I couldn't move so .. I watched 3 movies .. one was a teen-cum-sex-cum-horror movie .. the other was a cartoon and the last was some mystery thriller .. mumbo jumbo .. anyways .. I only bathed at 5:00 pm .. haha .. yeah .. whats wrong with that .. I'm just too lazy ..

Dinner was a li'l special for me .. Mom cooked something .. yay .. that's good for a change ... yea .. but I shit it out 30 minutes later .. bleah .. haha ..

I just finished my OB essay .. I think it was 1,300 words long .. way more than the 800 asked ... oh well .. what to do .. haha .. and later chatted with a few people.. and yeah I discussed the casino thingie with Vanessa until she almost fell asleep on her lappy .. poor her .. sorry vanessa .. XD .. anyways .. I'm preparing for the Ocom Table topic discussion tomorrow .. so wish me luck and hopefully I will do well . . Good Night ..

Geez .. i woke up with a horrible stomache this morning, really couldn't stand it and spent about 30 mins in the loo .. and i'll save u guys the details ... I couldn't move much cause everytime i took a few steps my bowels would just go ... lol ... imagine that .. some poor guy having to go every few minutes ...

I still went to school; however, feeling a littel unwell ... the pain was coming back and I tried my best to hold on .. lol .. luckily CIP tutorial wasn't 3 hours .. it as only for 15 minutes .. so yeah yeah .. the tutor reviewed our project ... we got a 78 .. not bad .. its a B+ but I thot we could have done much better .. so on our next assignemnt .. we are gonna get that A no mater what .. right guys ? ( aye !! ) ... thank you very much =)

I went home after the review session and had something solid to eat so as to control my bowels .. but sigh .. I still had to go again .. I only managed to get to the clinic at 11 + .. luckily there wasn't anyone there .. or else .. nevermind the details .. lets move on shall we ? The doctor said I had some gastro-smthn-smthn ... and she said that I could only take plain porridge for a few days .. yeuch !!

I reached home soon after and guess what ?? I went to sleep .. ha-ha !! Yea ... I snored till 7pm .. *yawn* ..

Nothing much really happened after that .. I just continued going to the loo and yeah I caught this movie .. The Wonders .. they were famous for their hit song .. That Thing You Do .. I just love it .. ok bla bla ..

Bleah .. monday was a crazy day for me .. ( and my class ) .. well .. our Bstats Hw .. was due today at 12 noon; however, at 9 am .. we were all still rushing !! .. and I spent the whole night doing and only managed 3 questions ... -.- ... well whatever ...

so OB lecture truned into Bstats marathon .. to see who could complete it first .. haha .. but some ppl still managed to listen to the lecture .. ho-hum

later on, we went to canteen one for lunch .. and yeah .. still scribbling .. as we raced to complete the homework in time .. yay .. not .. I had spaghetti for lunch today which was out of the norm .. and worse still, i stained my clothes with ketchup ..har-de-har ..

Bstats tutorial .. was .. HUH .. i can't believe I'm saying this .. fun fo the very first time !! .. Well, lets say that I did my work for a start and yeah i just wanted to know .. why ! .. ( as in why i was wrong .. and why this .. why that ..bla bla yada yada ) ... haha .. and we were all taking pictures in class .. did i mention that i brought a digi-cam to school today o.O ? ... seems liek everyone was trying to hide from me .. ( and my camera of course ) .. dotz .. its just a camera what .. or am i really that despicable .. dotz .. oh well

I reached home at abt 3pm and I went straigh to bed .. I didn't get much sleep last night and so ... u know .. I slept till 7 .. bleah .. well at least the sun was still there when i woke up .. well maybe just in time to say goodbye ...

Mom was still sick .. poor her .. and she was busy cleaning up the house .. i tried to help but just made a mess x_x .. haha .. well .. hope she gets better soon .. but one thing i dun get .. she still has her sense of humour functioning ...

Oh yeah .. I have to do my OB HW .. I have 72 hours to hand it in .. or else .. I die .. !! better do soon ..

Another Wedding

Yeah ... that's right, I had another wedding to attend today. It was my uncle Yeen Chern and his beloved soulmate .. Karen who were tying the knot ... the wedding dinner was held at the Conrad .. not bad .. but we were almost late for the wedding dinner that my father decided not to drive .. why ? well .. my dad didn't really know the fastest way to the hotel as traffic was bad .. its a sunday u see .. and secondly .. i think he was too pooped to drive .. haha

Well ... we were supposed to leave at 7:00 pm but at 6:30 pm, I was still on the couch like a stone ... watching the tele .. while my Mom just whizzed past to the bathroom .. to and fro .. haha .. well yeah I rushed realising how much time I had left .. it was not like I could just go down and put on anything I could snatch from the cabinet ... I had to put on a tuxedo again and that requires alot of patience to put on .. -.- .. sigh .. and worse of all .. The suit was shrinking .. or I was growing .. it fit me perfectly last June .. but now .. 7 months later .. I was feeling uncomfy with it .. uh-oh .. time to get a new suit ..

The cocktail was fun .. got to meet some people .. and everyone was looking awesome .. especially the ladies .. heh heh .. one of my cousin really changed alot .. we haven't met since CNY 2004 .. and I changed alot too .. soon after we adjourned to the ballroom .. beautiful .. there were too many guests that 2 ballrooms were needed .. haha ..

Soon after, the MC invited a Doctor up onto stage ... I didn't really bother but I took a closer glance and he looked so familiar ... then the MC addressed him as Dr. Lee Suan Yew !!! .. ACK !! They invited Lee Kuan Yew's brother to attend the wedding .. woah .. high profile .. and he was asked to give a speech .. and the way he talked .. impressive .. now i could safely say that it runs in their family .. haha ..

Soon after, Dr. Lee pronounced the couple .. man and wife .. so touching .. and with that Dr. Lee left myseriously as he had appeared !

Dinner was fabulous .. and the kids .. wah .. very 'chao' ... screaming .. shouting .. -.- .. but in the end .. they managed to behave themselves .. good little boys and girls .. how did I do that .. tell lame jokes .. like the Muachi and cupcorn joke .. well of course this contributed to the noise pollution .. incessant laughter poured out of them .. i didn't know the Muachi story was so funny .. shuld thank Irin for telling me that story !!

Ok .. so the dinner ended at 11 plus and we got jars of jam as souveniers .. huh .. that's a first .. so after that, we got a cab and it was home sweet home ..

Sports Galore

Bleah .. S&W today ... sian .. well not really .. i love volleyball .. its just that .. i have to freakin wake up at 6 am !! geezus !!! I was still dreaming in Lala-land .. so many beautiful stuff going thru my mind .. until that toopid alarm clock blared at me .. i'm really gonna buy a hammer one day !!

Well, i arrived class in the nick of time ... heng ahz .. the traffic jam was not that bad .. coz i overslept for 45 minutes .. har-de-har ... the coach was really full of crap .. really one of the funniest teacher i've ever seen .. she likes to joke with us ... but sometimes she makes it sound as if it's so serious .. than in the end ... she says . orhz .. I'm joking .. har-de-har ... not funny -.-

Ok .. so volleyball was FUN today .. we all really made progress ... with the exception of me hurling a ball at my fren's head ... lol .. sorry ahz !! I managed to serve the ball properly now and then .. unlike .. week 1 .. the ball flew into a tree .. malu -.- ... All in all, it was fun la .. and was happy that it ended so much earlier today ... haha .. and as usual .. the xiao jie's took so long in the toilet -.-

LMS Class was fun too .. we had to do some role-playing ... and everyone knows that I love to get extra credit so i volunteered .. and acted as a counselor ... damn i fogot to bring my glasses today ... didn't look old enuff .. oh well .. it was fun and nosey Noorin came nosing around ... very nosey ... -.-

After school, I headed to the atrium ... finally after many weeks i finally reported that i lost my student id card ... and my frens and i tried the taiwanese hotdogs ( school having a bazaar & stuff ) ... the honey one was good but the spicy one was ... damn HOT man .. my tongue was burning ... serious ... but not literally la ...

Went home and then Wei Png popped up again .. and Derek came back from the Hwa Chong Orientation Camp .. yay .. not -.- anyways .. Wei Png had a problem .. he was a student Councilor in YJC ... and there was suppose to be a meeting .. and he was busy wooing irls that he forgot about the meeting .. so he came to hide in my house .. lame .. and we tried to come up with some crazy excuses ... to get him out of it ... lol ..

4pm and it was time for tennis .. SICC was awfully quiet today .. dunno why .. only me my brother and another guy .. Bob and his coach were there .. other than that .. totally quiet ... well .. was kinda sad with my tennis today .. my balls all overshot -.- can never control my balls .. O.O .. ehz .. i mean .. -.- nvm .. bleah .. ok then it drizzled a bit .. at least it cooled me down .. haha ..

Today was a wonderful day .. I dunno why but i just felt all perky and stuff .. maybe drink too much coffee ... wait -.- .. i dun drink coffee .. wait .. thats not funny .. dotz

So .. we started the day with Ocom .. tutorial was fun .. our group had to do a table topic discussion and then ask each of our classmate to give their opinions on a question related to the topic ( which was on education in our case ) ... and then we evaluate them .. give them grades ... it was very hard for me to distribute the grades .. but i managed to come to a consensus with Stacy ... we even out the grades .. and so everything was fair .. we were kinda lenient .. so u might say ...

So, we had lecture later that day .. yeap .. Micro .. teacher only conducted an hour lecture .. dunno why .. oh yeah .. met up with Paru .. haven't seen her for quite a while already .. ok so during micro lecture .. we did the funniest thing ... the girls started DEMANDING for the guy's wallet ... nosey girls -.- my wallet only has flies la .. well and some other stuff .. but the point is ... erm ... nvm .. later someone see me complain on my blog .. i will get massacred by the girls .. heh heh ...

After lecture .. we went to canteen 1 .. yeah borng as usual .. then jere and me crossed over to the atrium ( michelle took jere's bag .. so jere had to walk to the atrium to get it) ... and after we reached there .. we walked back to Canteen 1 ... -.- ... i really have nothing to say .. it was the dumbest thing we did .. brain not functioning liao -.-

So back at boring canteen 1 .. i took a nap ... i was really tired ... i also dunno why ... maybe the canteen was too boring .. maybe we should try canteen 4 or 5 next time .. bleah .. anyways .. i was really pooped that i pon lecture and went home .. dun tell anyone .. was just a one time thingie lah ... i hope .. heh heh ...

Back home .. i went to nap again .. i dunno what's happening to me .. sleeping alot and stuff .. maybe too stressed or smthn .. yeah and later mom asked me to swim .. and since i was lazy to do so .. i went out for a walk ... so i was just strolling abt the neighbourhood ... also very boring ... haha .. everyhing is so boring .. sad .. but then again .. i'm moving house .. YAY .. not

Later in the evening .. i follwed my parents to go to Derek's school ( well not school .. but a camp somewhere in bukit batok ) ... Derek was having an orientation camp and also a Meet the Parents Session ... yeah ... and i was really impressed by Hwa Chong .. its really a wonderful school giving u lots of exposure .. so sad i didn't get a chance .. i'm really proud of my brother and i really hope that he can grasp this oppurtunity that many people also want ... lucky him .. oh yeah .. u shuld see their science lab .. wah kao .. complete with all those nifty gadgets .. geezus ... too rich already .. haha .. later after the session .. which was seriously more like a press conference ... really too rich already the school ... we had a mass dance .. it was damn fun .. but i didn't join in -.- why .. shy mahz .. haha ..

Woah ... I woke up feeling very groggy this morning. All the exhaustion finally caught up with me .. sigh .. what to do ? ... school's just pushing u everyday to the verge of suicide .. ( hee hee .. dun worry i won't ... just an expression ) ... I woke up extra early today .. erm 30 minutes early .. lol .. still counted mah ... coz today we had to do our CIP presentation ... the module sux btw and the worst thing was that we were first -.- ...

When I reached school .. Jeremiah was there .. wah .. since 8:10 @.@ ... ok ... anyways .. once everyone arrived .. we were rushin like mad .. who was gonna present first and who to present what .. two words .. not prepared x_x ...

LOL ..

I took a 30 mins nap before buying my food ... coz the queue was VERY long .. and I wasn't feeling too good .. have been feeling that way since last week .. dunno why .. but i'll try to hang on ... After tutorial, I followed Dixon, Yumei and Aiqi to the sports complex .. we were going for the Volleyball attachment thingie ... i was initially confused .. do 2 hours or 4 hours .. luckily .. we went to check out and found out that it was just 1 lesson .. haha .. phew ... oh yeah i fell down on the hill just now .. and i never saw Yumei laugh until like that before .. haha

Later on .. i backed out .. cause i was damn tired and I need lots of rest ... so I just went home .. kinda dissapointed them .. haha .. I'm so bad right

I was so tired by the time I reached home that I just slept the day away ... hiya wasted another perfect day for swimming .. but too tired what to do -.- *cries* ... okok .. it's almost nine now .. so I'd better have my dinner now .. so .. cya later =)

What a Hectic Day

It's the 1st day of school on the new year and geezus we have so many things to do !! Projects and presentations have been flooding my schedule. Haha, no rest even on the 1st day of school .. that's life .. so lecture was fine .. and as usual nobody bothered about what was going on ... instead, we were all too busy doing our Bstats ... a group was going to present today and this being a hard module .. everyone had to help them out ... luckily we made it on time .. phew ..

Recess or .. erm break time .. whatever u call it ... was kinda fun .. I had a few laughs with dixon, angeline, yumei and eileen ... I was asking them how to pronounce this word ... some of u disney fans may have heard of it ..

" Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious"

.. remember already ... It's supposed to be the longest word in the world; however, it has no meaning to it .. lol .. i think the longest word i have seen so far is "anti-disestablishmentarium" .. some mumbo jumbo word in which dun care less ... so Angeline and Eileen got it .. well caused they watch the movie ... Yumei .. was good .. she managed to get that word in no time .. as for dixon .. XP .. it was so damn funny ... the way he pronounced it was hilarious .. but yeah he got it eventually .. after Juleen "taught" him how ..

Okok ... so later, we entered the dreaded classroom ... sigh .. Hi Mr. Sonny Phua ... well .. not many people like him .. but i personally think that he's not bad .. but yeah .. he has a bad impression of us already .. >.< .. so the tutorial was confusing as hell and we left the classroom with some questions answered but also came out with more questions ..

Ok .. later on, my group ... ( Jere, Wenru, Van, Qiqi and I ) went to the library to get on with our CIP project .. the project was pretty well done i might say .. i'm still so sorry that I wasn't able to participate alot cause I fell sick ... i promise to work harder on all of our other projects ok !! cheers ...

So, by the time we finished our project ... it was 5 pm .. and i was way pooped .. i just felt like sleeping somemore .. so I went home .. and practically slacked the whole day .. really didn't have the mood to do anything !! sad .. but I managed to gain back my stamina at night and I started to finish and edit the project ... it looked good by the time I finished ..

Now it's damn late so .. i dun think i'll stay up anymore .. and yeah i'll probably do some reading before I sleep so .. I'll be signing off now !!!

1 ) [STUDY HARD]

Heh .. i haven't really been paying attention in class lately .. i dunno why maybe i'm just a lazy bum .. and so are some of my friends .. XP .. I promise ( or I wish ) I will listen to my lectures attentively and make sure that I do all my tutorial homework from now on .. kinda hard one .. but i'll try my best =p

2) [BE MORE SOCIABLE]

Aiyah .. i know i know .. i hate to talk alot .. kind of an introvert even though some people say i'm an extrovert .. it depends on my friends' perspective .. and how well i know them .. i can be wild as a lion or quiet as a cat .. but the point is .. i wanna be more sociable and approachable to people .. and yeah .. dun look so serious all the time .. ( even tho i'm never serious .. i just look serious -.- ) ... I shall try to smile me then

3) [DO MORE SPORTS]

Yes .. do more sports .. i've been doing lots of sports but it's still not enough .. i wanna try competitive .. but kinda lazy and dun even have the time for it .. I'm just playing for the sake of playing .. and where's the fun in that ? I gotta to try and be more pro-active .. maybe i join a CCA in school bah !! .. hmm .. Tennis ? .. We'll see

4) [FALL IN LOVE]

Yeah .. u guessed it .. i haven't really been spending much time with my family members, especially my mom .. I really love her and yeah i feel guilty that I have not been responding to her ... so sad ... i'll be a good boy now and understand my mom better ...

Mom says that I have been shrinking since forever .. and she wnats me to eat more .. HALP .. mom abuse .. she's force feeding me ... nah .. just kidding .. but its true .. I have been growing smaller .. and my friends can vouch for me anytime ... i've been trying to eat alot bu to no avail .. i'm still puny .. well not to that extent ...

8 [BE MORE MATURE]

Still .. i find this a hard thing to do .. i'm only 17 and even though some people find me matur .. i dun see myself as one .. haha .. i think i'm still childish and not really prepared to grow up yet ... i wish i can be 17 forever .. its so fun !!

All over again

So let's start another history book all over again .. It's the BRAND NEW YEAR .. and i tarted it off by waking up at 4 pm ... lol !! ... I stayed up too late yesterday for the countdown so who could blame me ... yeah i know .. still 4 pm is a tad too much ...

After doing my morning .. erm .. afternoon ... wait .. -.- .. u noe the usual routine when u wake up .. brush .. bathe .. bla bla bla ... not balaba ahz ... i wnet to Mom's room and watched TV .. there lots of cool action flicks on .. so I was so engrossed that I didn't know that the sun was about to set ... -.-

I had to get changed cause the entire GOH Family tree would be having dinner at grandma's house .. yeah everyone .. even great grandma ... she's like a nice mothe to us all .. its kinda sad that we can't communicate ... coz we speak 2 different languages .. i dun understand any dialect .. i always needed Mom to translate for me .. but I really love her .. and she really is a strong person. Ever since my great grandfather passed away .. she's been coping with it and the love and support of everyone ... she's doing good =)

Dinner was superb .. we had loads of stuff and all of us were catching up .. see who had changed alot .. i know i did ... i look different .. somehow .. lol .. oh yeah .. i was playing the piano later ... grandma has some pretty neat song books and I've been trying to take some from her but she absolutely forbade me to take any ... so sad .. maybe I should take down the title or smthn and find another copy myself ...

Many of my uncles .. who are young enough to be my big kor kors were getting married .. it was kinda fast .. first it was Vincent last year .. now Xingli .. XP .. yay .. at least I have a weddng dinner to attend this year !! lol .. Anyways .. it was a joyous night .. and it was nice to be with everyone ...

New Year's Eve ...

OMG !! The countdown has begun .. and I'm a nervous wreck .. ack .. well .. unlike *other* people .. I had to come to school on New Year's Eve .. what a bore .. and I had to wake up at 6 am and be at school by 8 am for Volleyball ... it's like .. geezus .. why can't we just throw a party instead of throwing balls .. more fun lei

Well, it was raining when we got to the sports complex ... and if it was any consolation . .we didn't have to run around the track ... instead, we were asked to run around the complex ..which was much easier ... so ...erm .. yay ? ... haha ... so we did some PTs ... yeauch .. i always hate that !! ... then we went to THWACK some balls .. yea it was fun .. Raazi .. act like a pro .. well actually he is a pro ... haha .. so while we were having a blast .. the heavens decided to blast the blast we were having ... er if u dun understand then forget it ... it rained ... even harder ... and yeap .. the inevitable had happened .. we were drenched to the bone .. literally .. but all in all .. it was a fun session we had .. haha ...

As usual,we were late for our LMS class .. cause the girls took an awfully long time in the toilet .. wonder what they do in there .. i'm very curious .. and girl want to share with me .. lol .. so class was a bore .. teacher almost made me sleep till we were asked to do an impromtu skit !! arghh !! .. of all the times !!! ... on New Year's Eve .. and worse still, it was graded ... bah ... so we did smthn about the tsunamis .. yeah yeah .. what's new i ask ? ... so that was the last class for the year .. and god was i happy to be over it .... now it's time to party people !!

... yeah ... party my foot ... i fell sick .. AGAIN .. coz of the volleyball .. and not drying my hair -.- what worse fate could i get ? bleah .. so i couldn't stay back for my project and I had to go home and take a nap ... heng tennis was cancelled due to the rain if not ... DIE AHZ !! ... ok so the rest of the day went fine ... even though my head was still aching ... sorry guys .. couldn't help out today with the project .. feel so guilty =( ...

... anyways .. i was thinking abt my parents .. when all of a sudden .. out of the blue .. out of my wildest imaginations !!! MY PARENTS returned home !!! omg .. i gave Mom a big hug .. i had missed the both of them ... now i know what it feels like to be parentless ... well everythings fine now .. and mom bought loads of goodies ... STACY !! i know u want the chcolates !! lol ... so she told me everything that happened in tokyo .. wow it was amazing .. so sad i wan't there .. and it SNOWED lei !!! *shobz* .. it's not like I have never seen snow before but its just that ... i missed such an oppurtunity !!! *sucks thumb* ...

Later on, we went to Aunt Vivien's house .. yep dinner and countdown .. but nothing to countdown too since th telecast for the countdown was cancelled .. what a bummer ... so we had dinner .. food was exceptionally good and everyone was here .. woo-hoo .. later .. after dinner .. we played more twisters ... and my cousins and I played some ball games .. soccer, bball .. and even volleyball ... LOL .... after so much fun ..we ent to visit Lynnette's reltives house .. nice to met the family again ... Marcus was back from Melbourne ... so got a chance to say hi =) ... and Jean and Lionel were there too ... yeap ... still abit akward there .. haha .. but I'm managing .. lol ... not to brush up on my social skills ... oh yeha later we caught something on MTW .. people doing some wacky stunts ... really gross .. but not as gross as Jackass the movie .. that was the real deal .. and it was R-21 but i watched it in Italy just last month .. lol !! ok .. after spending some time there .. we said our farewells and returned to Aunt Vivien's house .. which was ... huh .. just nearby .. lol

The countdown soon began and we switched to the Taiwan channel since we were in the same time zone ... so we used that to countdown ... Taipei 101 was the venue btw .. .beautiful building ... ok .. so 3 .. 2 .. 1 .. YAY !!

IT'S 2005 !!

The Tsunami Crisis

This has indeed been a terrible day not just for South Asia .. but the world.

Just as a refresher, an earthquake struck somewhere off the coast of Western Indonesia ... in the indian ocean. The immediate affected area was Aceh and as I type .. the death toll is climbing to 5,000. As the earthquake shook that area, it caused a ripple effect and tsunamis or tidal waves formed ... causing major havoc on cities located on the coast of the Indian Ocean, namely, Thailand, Sri Lanka, The Maldives, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar and even Somalia in Africa.

I personally believe that the remnants of this powerful force will still be felt in other coastal cities ... and worse still ... aftershocks ... they will and should happen somewhere within this week. I certainly do hope that everyone is prepared for the second wave.

The death toll has risen way above wht I had initially imagined .. ( appox .. 1,000 ) .. and now its reaching 20,000 ... this has got to be the worst disaster that I have ever witnessed. I really feel lucky and quilty at the same time that Singapore is safe .. tucked away in a protected area .. and while Singaporeans sigh a breath of relief and go about their daily lives ... millions of our neighbours are suffering.

Maybe, Singaporeans should start waking up and understand their surroundings better .. be more observant and vigilant ... one of my friends just doesn't see to care about the tragedy .. he just goes on to say " None of my business " ... I was shocked by his words. On the contrary, it does affect us in every way. The economy will be affected .. the STI was down since yesterday ... and who wants to visit the region should another similiar disaster of epic porportions take place again ? Ok, maybe I'm a bit too harsh. He was just one guy and I believed that there are many Singaporeans who are voicing out their concerns .. sending aid through the form of money. So, Singaporeans, let's wake up and help our friends who are in need. Don't just sit down and continue living as if it didn't happened ... do something .. donate money cause what comes around goes around. Wh0 knows ( touch wood ) one day something bad happens to Singapore and when we need help .. our neighbours won't help us ...

Anyways, I'd better stop my ranting and do something more useful. Sitting on the chair and venting my frustration on my blog doesn't seem to be helping anyone .. maybe just get myself more critics .. ack .. sigh anyway .. I really want to offer my condolences to all the victims who were affected by the tragedy in anyways.

Derek's Birthday

December 26 it is, or boxing day to many.

To me, this day is a special day as it marks my brother's 14th birthday ... yeah well ... we didn't celebrate it today as we had did it yesterday.

.. Derek was .. as usual at grand ma's house with our cousins and yeah what could i do .. it was his birthday .. i only managed to say

... when he came home at 2 pm .. after that he was rushing off to play tennis ... wow ... what about me ... haha .. li'l ol me just stayed at home and studied till i was in teetering off the brink of exhaustion ... yeah school sucks ... and I had to be in school in less than 12 hours .. when is life ever fair .. ho-hum

.. anyways .. I did managed to watch some TV ... and yeah .. the news about the earthquake and tsunami was terrible .. i really didn't thought about it initially .. cause thesethings were always happening everyday .. but when the tsunamis started washing up the coast of India, Malaysia, Sri Lanka and Thailand ... I knew that this was bad ... of all times for a natural disaster

... 26th of December ... 1 day after christmas .. 5 days to 2005 and on my brother's birthday

... like i said ... that's life .. expect the unexpected ... well .. there ain't much time for me left .. I have to be up early tomorrow .. but i dun think i would be in bed early as i'm much too glued to the tele ...

OMG !! I can't believe it's Christmas already ... I mean ... I've waited an entire year for this day since last year and this is it ?? I don't know why ... but Christmas this year sure doesn't feel like Christmas. Maybe it's because there's been too many things happening to make me soak up the festive spirit ... but then again ... I'm not the only person who feels this way.

Maybe it's just that Christmas has kinda lost it's meaning to many of us...

Anyways, I want to wish everyone a MERRY CHRISTMAS ... haha ... I have been saying that too many times and I think I have exhausted that word now and it has kinda lost it's feeling somehow .. doesn't seem right doesn't it ?

OKOK .. i'm being kinda nasty now .. christmas should be a time of festivities and celebration and I'm here rambling around trying to promote misery and stuff .. haha .. i apologise again !!

Oops ... time to move on ...

This morning .. or afternoon ... I was still at home .. so were all of my neighbours ... I checked out the window ... and the swimming pool was empty except for a few caucasians ... All the houses were dead quiet .. probably everyone had went out for christmas lunch or probabaly just slacking at home and watching tv ...

In the afternoon .. Weipng came .. haha .. poor him .. I had to ask him to come all the way here on christmas day itself .. lol .. we just chilled out .. it was actually kinda boring .. until he asked me to make a card for him .. AGAIN !! T-T ... woo boy .. he really is a flirt ... wooing so many girls at the same time .. haha .. but he's a nice guy so i presume he'll treat them all well right ?? we had also planned to swim but like very "sian" .. so what the heck ... just listened to music ... it was like the most boring day ever ... usually we would play games or do something weird like shooting guns or fire arrows at one another .. but today was ... arghh !! i dunno

Later in th eveing .. I went to my grandparent's house at Berrima Road ... oh yeah .. i forgot to say .. It's my brother's birthday tomorrow .. and so we were celebrating it today .. yeap .. he's gonna be 14 !! The kids did this crazy dance and I recorded it on my phone ... lol .. u shuld see it .. ask for it when u see me ... ok .. so later Will stole my ipod .. i think he liked it and he's definitely gonna get one soon .. another supporter for Apple !

I reached home at abt 11:00 and i went to listen to more music .... right now I'm listening to the School Anthem of Anglo-Chinese School .. i think it's one of the best school anthems ... even though I'm not an ACSian .. I'm a Catholic Boy ... lol ... green pants and all.

It's late now and I'd probably stay up till 1 or 2 ... and before I go ... I wanna wish u guys .. ( yeap .. 1 LAST TIME ) .....

Christmas Eve

Heh ... to start of Christmas Eve ... i didn' go to school today .. i still wasn't well .. sigh .. bummer .. lol .. but i spent the whole morning preparing for the big night ... there iwas going to be a party tonight .. and all my family members would be there tonight to exchange presents .. it has been a tradition to hold this party and it would always be held at Aunty Vivien's house ...

I spent some quality time with Mom today ... she was going off to Tokyo later tonight so I just wanted to talk to her .. we haven't been spending muc time lately .. well .. yes we did go out .. had lunch and buy stuff but there was no "actual" interaction with us ... so ... we just talked about stuff .. about the family .. christmas .. printers .. handphones -.- and even chocolates .. lol .. it was fun .. and i was happy i had that talk with her ... my mom is one of the only people I really trust and I love her lots =) ... so Mom if ur reading this ... I love You and Merry Christmas ...

Later that evening .. I walked to Aunt Vivien's house to get the party started ... everyone else in the neighbourhood had also prepared for christmas eve dinner .. some were having barbeques .. some were just planning to have a quiet dinner and some were planning to get rowdy .. it was a nostalgic feeling in the air ... I always believed that Christmas Eve was more fun than Christmas Day itself ... haha ...

Our gathering was loads of fun .. one of my uncles ... bought a Sony PsP ... i was entranced by it .. and amazed by its functions ... a remarkable device but sadly .. i'm not a Playstation supporter ... so I will be getting my Nintendo DS ... next week .. i've been playing Nintendo all my life and unlike other people who wanted change .. I stood by nintendo and ... I'm getting a DS ... lol .. dual and touch screen man !!

Later on, we had dinner ... the food was absolutely wonderful and this was the first time i tried to tackle a crab .. lol ... and after dinner ... we exhanged presents .. it was total mayhem as the kids ripped open everything .. lol .. and the worst part was that I was in their warpath ... oh yeah someone got a Twister game and we played all through the night ..

After everyone had left, Derek, Will and Me played some basketball ... i'm kinda impressed by Will's skill ... he's good .. maybe he should be a basketball pro next time .. ehz .. ok maybe his mom won't allow it ... haha .. and later we even tried volleyball .. but it was kinda hard .. XP ...

I reached home at about 12 and throughout the night .. I imported songs imto my ipod mini .. now it has more new songs .. so its good news to all of my friends .. lol ... ok so .. its kinda late now .. 3 am .. i will say good night to all of you ... I wish all of u a wonderful christmas !! ...

Ehz ... today I went to school ... yeap yeap ... and the fun part was that we were going to exchange presents ... cool or wat !! ... people were like continously staring at us .. siao people .. carry so many bags ... like as if having a sale like that -.- ... so we began the day with Ocom tutorial ... I almost died .. i forgot to do the tutorial .. heng never kena chased out of the class ... phew ... immediately after tutorial ... we exchanged presents .. fweee ..

this time we didn't even bother about the lecture .. christmas was like .. how many hours away ... very excited .. so we whipped out our cameras and started taking photos -.- .. lame sia ... haha .. so later a few of us went to TAKE OUT .. or mashe .. marche .. aiyah some restaurant in school .. we had so much fun there ... and i laughed till my head almost dropped off -.- ... yeah .. i'm scary sometimes .. so .. we headed back to LT 45 for our 3 o' clock lecture .. and yeah we took even more photos .. well .. even the lecturer was in a holiday mood too ... ok .. so this ends my day in school

.. after school .. mom took us to the boutique cause Apeh Sinar and Aunty Soheila were coming ... Aunt Soheila is really a fun person ... and yeah she's cool and all that ... she's iranian btw and lives in the states ... i haven't seen Saman for quite a while now ... wonder how life is like for him now ... i heard he's working in Seattle .. trying out all the games and stuff .. cool job with cool pay ... and did u know there is an XBOX Tower in Seattle ? ... amazing !!! ... ok then we had dinner and stuff .. food was good and i was still drowning myself in my ipod .. haha ... i dun have manners ... whatever .. so later went to Isetan ... and stock up on food since Mom and Dad are going to Tokyo ... bla bla ... yeah so that's about it .. lol !!! ... okok .. i'm home now and I'm pooped .. so i just wanna wish everyone a

I woke up at 4 am with a terrible headache ...

I had actually planned to go to school .. but the pain was unbearble and i was feeling nauseous .. maybe i'm pregnant or smthn ... haha .. so i just slept in ... anyways i managed to get back to sleep at 5 and woke up later @ 9 am

This morning, i woke up with a cold .. it was nothing so i didn't think much abt it .... i went to school as usual .. today i had to take a cab coz Pon was leaving for jakarta .. and my dad needed to get a visa approval from the japanese embassy @ 9 am... so once i reached school .. everything was fine .. talk crap during lecture .. and listening to music .... i love my ipod mini ... -.- .. ok anyways .. fun stuff .. later during tutorial ... i started to feel unwell .. everything was swirling around .. but i just thought it was a headache or smthn .. i spend the whole tutorial writing nonsense on paper and didn't bother to listen to the tutor ... he's damn long winded one ... so after school .. i went to the ambassador room ... debbie, harie and keith were there .. apparently they were printing the excuse letter but had problems with it ... oh yeah... tomorrow going to do the outreach thingie with Pei Jun ... i dun even have my amb tee yet .. anyways .. later my group ( aiqi, jere, vanes & wenru ) headed for the library to start on our CIP Proposal ... we were stuck for a while but managed to figure it out .... it was there in the library .. i felt faint .. my head was spinning and everything else was just drones to me .. and after a while .. my temperature shot up and my body was shivering so badly .. i managed to stay until 4 before i left ... haha .. oh yeah .. i wanna thx Wenru and Aiqi .. coz they waited for my chauffer to come before they left .. anyways .. once i reached home .. i just plopped into bed .. i felt as if mybody had contorted or smthn ... i slept till 8pm .. and then had dinner & stuff .. hiya .. of all days to be sick .. and christmas is just a few days away .. -.- sian ... =( .. but what to do ? ... i'd better sign off now .. cya later !!

Sunday was really an interesting day for me .. this morning i had to wake up early again .. there was an opening ceremony at the boutique meant for family members only ... it was fun ... the food was delicious .. i liked the otah bread .. damn spicy but tantalizing at the same time ... we also had a lion dance at the enterance of the hop .. i think it was meant for good luck .. it was fun to see them, yet funny at the same time .. we were supposed to be there till 2pm; however, we were too caught up with things and stayed till erm .. 5 .. haha .. i even helped to do some work for my mom ... yay .. and maybe i'm going to help mom with creating charts .. and ironically .. i just learnt abt that last week .. frequency ditribution .. and stuff .... haha ... so later, mom went to isetan to buy food ... and i went to get some moss burger .. haven't eaten that for quite a while already ... it pales in comparison with macs or bk ... but kfc is still da best ! ok so later we were abt to go home .. haha .. and guess what .. my brother lost the car keys ... lol .. we searched the whole car for it ... and we just couldn't find it ... so sam, me and derek went home to get the spare key but just before we hailed a cab ... dad called saying that he had found the key .. and can u guess where it was ?? ... it was hooked to the support handle of the car .. the thing that u hold on if a car is moving fast or making a swerve .. anyways .. we got home .. and nothing much reallly happened .. i just went on my com again and wrote a couple of testimonials for my friends and then it was bed for me .... haha .. what a interesting day it had been ....

Omg ... this morning i had to wake up so freakin early to attendthe amb meeting at 8:30 am ... i was so sleepy that i couldn't find Lt 68-C .. i was walking around school ... aiyoh .. and i found later that it was at the teaching hub ... kao ... ok so all the ambassadors were present today .. the entire team was here and we were all excited .. haha ... ok so we had Ida and Audrey to brief us over the events and later we were all seperated into different groups .. i was put in the facility tours grp .. i think this is gonna be a hard one .. on open house day .. we have to ride on shuttle buses that go around the school .. and give them a tour of the school .. the worst thing is that we have to answer questions ... what if they ask difficult ones ... alamak !! okok .. so later we had lunch .. the fried noodles was delicious ... haha .. later we got back .. and we were given questions to answer .. the seniors and leaders acted as the parents, the students and other people while the rest of us had to go up and act ... we did it very well .. and it was also damn hilarious .. u shuld have been there ... later on ... we moved on and went around the campus .. get ourselves familiarised and what we're supposed to do on the big day itself .. haha .. i was walking around the campus in jacket .... weird me .. anyways .. after that we were done and i headed straight for the amb room to get my excuse letter printed .. by the time i was done .. it was already 3 pm ... after i reached home ... i really didn't do much .. i was kinda exhausted and well .. tired too .. so i just a rest for the rest of the day .. dinner is ready soon .. so i'll sign off now .. cya soon !!

Volleyball Lessons o.O

Today was the first day of Volleyball class .. i had chosen it because all my classmates chose it ... haha ... our teacher was damn cute .. and she liked to joke around .. but sometimes pretty nasty in a humorous way .. lol .. anyways .. we started lesson with a jog around the track 2 times .. wow .. raazi and sharon were fast runner .. i was 3rd behind them .. for some reason i was too lazy to run ahead of them .. come on man .. do u know what time it was in the morning .. my eyes were still half asleep .. ack .. i hate doing sports in the morning .. afternoon and evening is the ideal time for me ... later we had to do some warm up exercise .. i found the one where u had to lift ur legs 45 degrees in mid-air the hardest ... u need to have a strong abdomen to hold on for so long .. but i managed ... so latr we moved on to volleyball .. basically we learnt the few basics of volleyball .. yea it was fun ... but damn painful .. u need to hit it on the sweet spot ... i think i did ot regret taking this sport ... haha ... oh yeah there were only 5 guys in our class .. lol .. but so many girls u noe .. hee hee .. ok later we had lms lesson .. we were 15 minutes late but luckily the teacher didn't scold us ... phew .. i heard raazi's class was scolded ... heh heh .. so lms class was boring also .. i almost fell asleep .. sigh ... moving on .. i didn't do much after school .. was at home .. lazing around .. *yawn* .. i slept quite early today .. and yay .. tomorrow's saturday !!

Wow .. today was really a horrible day for me .. i shan't go into details but it just wasn't a happy day for me .. anyways .. it was dixon's birthday today yay .. tutorial went fine .. jere and me was talking abt games .. hmm .. maybe i shuld get nfs 2 .. jere said it was good lei .. maybe tomorrow bahz .. so anyways .. our CIP tutor was totally boring .. i dun even know what he was doing .. while he was going thru the exercise .. he did it so fast and was mumbling to himself ... i was like o.O ... jesuz ... so we had to do a project .. i was like what .. we have to recommend computers .. ok i came here to learn abt business .. and the ask us abt computers -.- i know its necessary .. but not entirely relevant ... bah .. so later .. during break .. yumei, eileen and angeline went to get dixon a a humongous ice-cream .. haha ... then all of a sudden .. a gigantic wind .. more like a tornado or even a .. erm a ... typhoon ...swept by .. and whoosh .. everything went flying.. it was damn fun .. haha .. but it's rare to feel this kind of wind .. totally amazing .. ok .. anyways .. back to tutorial .. it was ok .. i find OB a li'l challenging ... so i think i need to focus more on this module ... after turorial .. we went out to blow the birthday cake .. i had also purchased a birthday card for dixon where i passed it around the class first for everyone to sign their names and say some words .... haha .. so once again .. HAPPI B-DAY DIXON .. ok .. after that we decidedto hold a secert santa . if u guys dunno it already .. everyone will have to pick a random name .. and have to buy a gift for the person u got .. on christmas day .. or eve .. u give them the present .. haha .. right now im guessing who got me .. and i got a girl .. shhh .. i can't tell u who it is .. but a clue .. she has a 2 eyes .. 1 nose and 1 mouth ... thats it .. ill zip my mouth from now till dec. 25 .. haha .. anyways after school wei png came .. today we had planned to do christmas cards so we got busy making them .. it was really damn tired cause we were making the cards from scratch .. not just buying them and then signing them .. we had to draw .. cut and past and bla bla bla .. very tiring man .... but we managed to finish at 8 .. just in time for tennis ... so .. tennis was fine today .. no complains .. i was pretty satisified with my game today .. other than some rogue shots .. i really dunno how i did it .. kinda puzzling .. and i kept on hitting the net .. not enuff lift ... but all in all it went fine .. once i reached home ud probably guess that im too pooped to do anything ... so i had a nice warm bath and before u noe it i was in bed already haha ... ok so this ends my day ... *lights out*

I woke up at 7 today to prepare for school .. hmm anyways nthn much happened today ... school was sort of ok .. i was more attentive at lecture today .. copying notes and listening to o the lecturer .. well coz today i wasn't in da mood to talk to anyone .. so i just listened .. =) .. Stat's tutorial was ok .. the tutor was kinda long-winded .. ok maybe too long-winded .. talk so much unecessary stuff and even made mistakes while teaching us .. haha .. not his fault .. we were all bombarding him with questions and confusing him ... haha .. and who knew he ended up being our advisor .. ack .. ok so after tutorial .. i went to see mr. thomas tan .. the pe teacher .. i had heard from many ppl that he was strict; however, he didn't seem that bad when i met him .. and i managed to get into volleyball .. dunno why i chose that .. maybe because most of my classmates joined that -.- .. after that i chatted with robz and raaz ... had fun ... so later i went home .. bla bla .. the usual stuff .. bathe and eat .. and other boring stuff .. i started playing half-life 2 for the next 2 hours .. i was really blown away by the graphics man ... and it was creepy ... all the dead corpses .. ( decayed one also ) .. looked damn gross almost puked .. but it was damn fun too .. the music was also good ... and now we have futuristic guns .. ( today i read that russel lee book .. vol.12 ) ... and suck my thumb *grins ( ok .. that was MANY years ago .. ok -.- ) ... haha ... then i went to the game section .. and i found my baby !! Half-life 2 !! .. YAY .. now can cancel of from my want list ... ( im installing it now ... siao @.@ .. 5 discs .... dotz ... so after that we went back to the BUNS store and i da bau 8 ok them .. to yummy .. hiak hiak ... ok moving on ... hmmm did nthn at grandma's house ... just playing piano .. Saturday is finally here .. T-T .. ive waited for this day since .. erm .. since .. ehz .. last sarurday .. dotz .. haha .. was a fun day la .. and if u noe me well .. i would be at the com playing games again .. omg . .haven't do homework .. aiyah .. homework shomework ... who needs 'em .. just play like siao .. until my eys became @.@ ... ok .. not really sightly .. anyways .. today i started my tennis ... i had to go through theory with my coach again .. everything forget .. i haven't played since my exams in september ... yeah and also because i fell down remember .. anyways .. i was pretty satisfied with my game today .. i had expected to fumble 50% of the incoming balls .. butmanaged 75% .. ok maybe thats still bad la... but gimme a break man .. i need more practice ... i think i have to devote more time to tennis .. i really love this sport .. *grins* .. after that mom .. NOT YOU AGAIN ... dragged me to the boutiqe .. wah .. she just popped out from nowhere .. and must see my play tennis of all the days .. sobz . but she was there to support me .. yay .. ok .. so down to the boutique .. So i woke up at 6 today .. and was planning to have a wonderful day ahead .. toda we were gonna have SAW ( Sports & Wellness ) and we were going to choose our sports and i wanted to take up tennis .. anyways .. cutting to the bad news ... i came to school 5 minutes late and all my classmates had left me .. well usually it would be easy .. just call ur friend .. bu the bad thing was i had no phone -.- sobz .. and worse i couldn't find my class .. omg .. i really panicked .. i ran to the sports complex and searched high and low no one .. so i ran back to canteen 1 to find any body i knew but NO .. no one was there .. so i thought maybe ill go to the library and check again ... i fumbled with thecoms there ad it took me 15 mins to get log in but alas ... NPAL was down .. arghhh .. so i just .. erm . .well .. PANICKED .. arghhh .. damn miserable .. i had no choice so i returend to canteen 1 when i met NOORIN .. thank god she was there .. i quickly contacted dixon .. but so sad .. class ended already .. dammit .. well no point crying over spilt milk so i just headed for IS Class ... so sad .. now i can't be in the same grp as my classmates .. sian -.- ... anyways .. school ended early today .. erly ? T-T where's erly .. i've been contacteing her but couldn't reach her ... sigh ..anyways ... i went home later and got ready for *gulp* Tennis .. Muahahaha .. today NO SCHOOL ... so li'l ol me woke up at 10 am ... i know some of you think its early ... to me its late liao ... anyways .. i was either planning to go to Wei Png's house to watch 24 again or maybe go to Kun Liang's house to play world of warcraft ... oh yeah i heard Singapore is sold out .. so I have to pre-order and wait till january .. well at least i won't get distracted with my school work .. anyways ... instead i just stayed at home and play com .. lol .. why ? cause it was raining i just felt like staying at home and doing nothing .. cause the rain always make me sleepy .. and the sun too .. -.- so i think anything makes me sleepy .. haha .. so i just surfed the net .. Well .. not actually hogwarts .. but Ngee Ann Polytechnic ... wow .. it was a wonderful morning ... as usual i woke up early .. abt 5 plus or 6 ... anyways .. just did nothing for abt 30 minutes .. like a blur sotong .. but later managed to get up and get prepared for school .. haha .. anyways ... I reached school early and the 2st person I saw was Irin ... =p ... haha .. both of us like sha gua .. also very sian ... ayways .. the guys and gals started trickling in and yay soon everyone was here .. Vanessa changed her hairstyle .. it was WAY better than before ... and wah Wenru ahz .. i just couldn't stop looking at her .. her new hairstyle was fantastic man ... it just didn't look like the Wenru I knew a month ago .. Miao qin also had her hair cut short ... which surprisingly looked better on her .. everyone was quirky and ready for school .. haha .. thats my class .. so lecture started ... and like ONG .. first lecture and I wasn't listening to lecturer .. instead .. i was talking cock with Robyn ... haha .. and we were busy talking abt what we did the past month ... haha .. anyways .. it was a great day .. we're even planning to go to KBOX this wednesday .. in which .. i have never been too o.o .. hope its fun ... dotz .. after that I went to the canteen for lunch .. missed the chicken rice .. *muackz* .. haha and we contineud talking ... anyways .. after that i went home and later visited the new house .. its beautiful .. and after the renovation .. it will look better ... I think our arsenal included arrows .. knives .. boomerangs and guns ... oh yeah .. he actually SHOT me with the gun man ... damn painful man .. so we took out the catridges and I locked him out of the room and cleared the room of all weapons ... haha .. when i let him in .. he suddenly couldn't find his weapon and was like WTH ??? it was so funny man .. during lunch ... WP's brother Chee Png suddenly brought up Naruto .. the japanes anime .. i used to love watching it .. but all of a sudden i stopped watching them ... so I think after I have finished watching the 3rd season of 24 .. ill get myself all the episodes of Naruto .. maybe borrow from Kun Liang .. sicne he's a Naruto freak as well ... so we watched 24 till 9 .. and we were too pooped to move on so .. i had no choice but to depart ... so now I'm back home .. drinking soup and milk ... GROAN !! Today is the last day of my holiday this term .. last year's batch had 10 weeks and we only have 6 weeks ... grr .. i'll bite the people responsible for this .. or at least shoot them in the ass ... today I woke up late .. 9 am .. i know its early to everyone .. but I sticked to a plan .. to wake upbefore 7:30 am everyday .. so as to prepare for school next week ... I wasn't really in da mood to do anything ... its not that I hate school .. i really love it .. i do ..but i really dunno why I'm having the blues .. maybe im just over-reacting .. Yesterday's TV marathon really weared me out .. but I got curious about the ending .. and went to check it out on the net ... phew .. the ending wasn't that bad ... at least not as bad as Season 1 ... I'm going to buy the DVD for season 3 soon .. and I'm gonna make sure that I finish it before season4 airs next January ... I wonder what they're gonna come up with next year .. hope its something better and more unique than the last 3 .. Actor Kieffer Sutherland who plays Jack Bauer is really one of my fav actors .. he's acting is good .. wait NO .. its FANTASTIC !! .. another person is the Penny Jerald who plays Sherry Palmer .. even tho her intentions may not be good .. she's still an awesome actress .. and Sarah Clarke who plays Nina Myers ... who can't forget her ... evil she may be .. Today, I woke up at 7:30 in the morning .. haha .. so I didn't really know what to do so I followed my mom to tsome wedding ceremony .. the groom is suppose to bring presents to the bride's house ... *thinks* ... anyways .. the lucky guy is Xing Li .. woohoo .. I didn't even know he was getting married .. well and the lucky girl is Ruth ... she's VERY pretty ... ok .. let's not wander off .. ANYWAYS ... we brought the gifts to her hose and met her family .. all nice people haha ... the ceremony was .. well ... simple .. but it was very warm .. so after that, we got back to Ku Poh's house and had the buffet ready .. my mom and my aunt's were attacking the pig ... i thot women didn't eat much .. heehee .. well from my observations .. some of my girlfriends just poke the food and munch a bit and say .. FULL .. but my mom proved them wrong .. haha .. ME? I dun care .. just pig out ( big fat glutton ) ... HAHAHAHA !! *AHEM . . scusi* ... den after that I went home and prepared to go out with my friends .. but alas, a change of plans ... we decided to watch a movie at my house .. we watched the 2nd season of 24 ... wah kao .. from 3pm to 12am ... that show was damn good ... until 12 am we still had 8 more hourse to go .. I woke up at 8 am today .. very sian .. just sat at my com .. staring at the big fat com .. sigh school in 3 days ... arghh ... yeah but i miss my frens .. can't wait to see them soon =) ... anyways .. I forgot that today was going to be a big day for me .. Derek is having a party .. omg .. and he's gonna invite his entire class .. ACK .. it's definitely gonna intrude my privacy .. everytime when Derek has a party .. half of them end up sitting in my room with me like its my party or smthn O.O ... anyways .. it was fine lah .. they are all nice people .. and well at least I get to know them better .. so sad Derek has to move to Hwa Chong next year .. gonna lose so many good classmates .. btw .. some of Derek's friends were so much taller than me .. which reminds me .. I'm so short -.- anyhow .. had a barbecue .. but I didn't bother to join in .. just sit in my room and ogling at my com and playing games -.- .. oh yeah .. I want to get World of Warcraft .. all my cousins are playing .. with me as a an exception .. and maybe Halflife 2 also ... *cheer* ... but I heard ATI Radeon 9600 isn't good enough for HL2 .. and mine is only 9200 lehz .. Early this morning at abt 7:00 am, I touched down on Singapore soil .. yeah and i had wanted to kiss it ... yea but i thot wait .. now got many disease .. dun better not la .. the last thing i wanna do is get sick AGAIN !! .. anywyas .. the humid and HOT weather greeted me outside .. it finally persuaded me to strip of my sweater .. which I had stubbornly wanted to put on cause it looked cool .. but blast you stupid weather ... %#(@% .. erm .. but I couldn't stay mad cause I was tired .. Ididn't even manage to sleep in the plane .. too busy watching movie .. so we reached home .. first thing .. i opened the door la .. next thing chiong up to my room AND .. open my room door la. ... then the good part .. ATTACK THE COM .. i siao liao .. anyways .. i catched up on everything my e-mails, my msn, my friendster .. neopets .. oops .. hehe ... and didn't sleep till 1 pm .. ( well partly because my dad forced me too ) ... heheh .. so I slept all the way from 1pm to 10pm and was woken up for dinner ... dang it .. i was having a wonderful dream .. stupid .. grrr ... no la .. not angry ... =p ... anyhow ... after dinner ... yeah u noe .. the com again .. kinda addicted to it mahz .. so do u people !! hahahahaha ... and I dun think I will be sleeping till .. hmm 2 am in the morning ... cya later !! Across the Heavens

We arrived at the airport and prepared to check in but alas .. mom had to claim back tax refunds and the Italian govt has made it very difficult for us to claim it ... my dad has been complaining and couldn't understand why we had to go through a long process ... well .. we had to check in first .. then walk to the next terminal to have the things we bought checked and then walk back to the check in counter ... it took almost an hour .. geez .. i pondered over it and thought ... and maybe the government didn't want us to claim back the money ... haha .. that was a really good idea of saving way .. frustrating the tourists from claiming their money ... GENIOUS !! anyways .. we didn't have time to get to the lounge .. I had planned to steal some of the food .. but there wasn't time .. we had to rush for the plane or we would miss it ... 10 minutes later .. we were all strapped in our seats and preparing for take-off .. the one thing i totally HATE about flying ... gasp .. anyways .. the plane OMG .. was delayed for an hour .. why ?? because the airport wanted to conduct a spot check .. i was like ... can u repeat that AGAIN ?? ... sigh ... it just made me more jittery ... anyways .. after everything was ready .. we took off .... and wow the view was fantastic .. Rome looked gorgeous ... heh heh ... but not as gorgeous as a real women ... =p we flew over greece and i was captivated by it ... I had the chicken spaghetti for lunch and just watched movies .... that was until sundown when we were flying around Iraq ... well ... the plane flew extra high just to lessen the risk of us being spotted and shot down .. not by terrorists .. but by american forces =p ... haha .. so ironic ... We were so close to space .. and looking into the heavens was simply remarkable ... and breathtaking at the same time ... IT was like once in a lifetime ... woah ... anywyas .. we flew over the middle eastern countries .. I was captivated by the cities glowing at night .. the stunning cities just stood there majestically ... while I awed on ... by the time we were over the Indian Ocean .. i took a litttle nap ... but by the time we were over india .. i just couldn't sleep .. i just continued watching movies ... after 3 movies later ... the sun began to rise ... our plane was like caught in the middle of day and night .. the view was awesome ... we had our breakfast served and I picked chicken again .. by sunrise ... we had arrived in Singapore .. it was already the 27th of November .. I had practically spent one day in a plane ... haha ...

Memories

Sigh .. today is my last day in Italy .. the wonderful city, Rome ,that I've been in is just gonna be a memory soon ... how i missed the delicious food .. the wonderful and haha .. beautiful people .. the weather .. Venice City and even the Heavenly Beds provided by Westin for us to sleep in comfortably .. it was a time where our family's bonds and strengths were tried and tested ... phew .. we lived through it all .. when i first came here .. i hated it .. i despised it so much that I was totally oblivious to my surroundings .. I felt like an alien .. but today .. the last day .. I was changed .. I cherised the time I had here .. I felt ... like I had been living here all my life .. it was a wonderful experience ... and unforgettable ... for the very first time since a very long time .. my family had a wonderful time .. we really laughed and enjoyed this holiday so much .. I have never seen my father laugh and smile so much that I even thought that it was just a dream .. I felt so happy ... Even though, we are leaving home .. and bidding Italy farewell .. this has really been a wonderful journey that opened my eyes to the surroundings ... something also made me choke up a while .. my dad may have to work more next year and mom has started to work .. my brother is going to boarding school and I am getting busier every single day ... i do hope that we can always be happy like this .. and go on a vacation every year just to have fun and cherish our family members ... and i really am gripping hard on that hope ... I really thank god that I have this family and Im happy that I have their love and support ... So .. as i stepped out of the hotel and leave for the airport ... images of our holiday in Italy flashed into my head .. and .. I smiled .. i really smiled for the very first time ... a REAL smile ...

Italian Escapade - Day 1 ( Rome )

Hi! Well, after much hesitation, I decided to start this mini-journal .. or whatever u call it .. I am not really the type who likes to write while on a trip .. but one who is into admiring the scenery ... taking in the culture .. and staring at HOT italian chio bus ... -.- .. ok ... moving on .. how'd i change my mind u ask .. well on this trip . .we had to take several trains so .. having nothing better to do on a 3hr or 4 hr ride .. i thought .. oh what the hell .. and voila .. my journal is born ... so lets get started. *munches chocolate* .. oh yeah .. i took out some private stuff .. for my eyes only .. =p

We arrived at Leonardo Da Vinci Airport at 5:30 am local time ... my first impression of the airport: TOO TIRED to be impressed .. haha .. I just trudged my way through the airport. To my surprise, the immigration and security procedures lasted less than 15 minutes .. It was really fast .. and efficient .. soon, we stepped out of the airport and ... WHOOOSH .. -.- welcomed by the cold winter of Rome ... We got on a limousine and made our way to our Hotel .. The Westin Excelsior .. Our cab driver was called Ino ( dunno how to spell .. but its pronounced like that ) .. H e gave us a brief tour of Rome while we were en route to the hotel .. and he even enlightened us with the dos and don't while ur in Rome ... then it reminded me of smthn .. " While in Rom .. do as the Romans do " .. wahahaha .. genius am i .. ok maybe not .. So, we arrived at the hotel at appox 8 am .. The hotel was godamn beautiful .. it was located tat he Via Venetto district .. very posh and it was opposite the American Embassy .. ok maybe a bit afraid liao .. =p .. anyways .. I was pooped and i didn't care .. i wanted to rush for the room ... but alaa ... !!! the freaking checking time was u noe what .. 2:00 PM !!! OMFG !!! ... we had like 6 freaking hours .. geezus ... so sigh, we had no choice but to start our sight-seeing tour of Rome immediately ... bummer ... Btw, the taxi driver eventually became our tour guide .. yay .. not ... Anyways .. our 1st stop was the TREVI FOUNTAIN ... it always reminds me of Hilary Duff .. cause a scene from the Lizzie Mcguire movie was shot .. it looked so much bigger in the movie !! ... We were suppose to throw some coins for goo luck .. but couldn't .. WHY?? .. we just arrived .. no coins .. end of story .. =p ... moving on .. our next stop was the famous CATACOMBS .. somewhere in the outskirts of Rome .. It is the world's largest and only christian burial ground ... we toured the catacombs which was actually built underneath the ground ... it goes down very deep and is as big asa city itself; however, since the humidity level was 95% .. which practically means u can't breathe in there .. we were restriced to Level 1,2 & 3 ... It was kinda creepy to think that 1/2 million people were buried there .. and most of their remains were still there .. eeek !! I, as usual, had to be the last .. and u noe walking at the back isn't very comfortable ... but with a pastor as my guide ... god speed !! ... We later moved on to the famed COLOSSEUM .. or colosseo as it is called here .. and in LA .. there is another one .. the LA Coliseum .. siao .. so many spellings ... anyways .. all my brother could think of was Pokemon .. dotz .. well the colosseum kinda confused me .. i thought it looked like a stadium .. but this one was totally weird .. I couldn't find the arena .. instead .. there was a maze.. dotz .. i came in with lots of questions .. but alas . i left the colosseum with more .. dotz .. anyways it was fun .. so we had lunch and it was 1pm already .. 1 more hour to check in .. we .. like any other tourist .. had to try the local italian cuisine .. so we chose spaghetti .. we went into a restaurant and like duh .. we sampled everything they had there .. people thot we were some psychos ... the spaghetti or fetucini or smthn was damn shiok ... later on we just wandered around .. and suddenly it struck me .. the roads in rome were made of bricks and rocks .. huh ... what happened to the normal roads ?? more questions ... soon we reached the fame SPANISH STEPS ... wah .. so many people there .. loved the crowd .. so iafter 6 hours .. we concluded our tour and we had covered 3/4 of Rome .. wah so fast .. tomorrow go home la .. not .. sigh .. the rest of the day we practically stayed at the hotel ... I haven't slept much since the 16th .. All the events in the past few days had exhausted me ... so i slept the day away .. zzzz .. later, i woke up to Derek's incessant pestering ... hae was hungry and it was only 6pm O.O ... I went to look for mom & dad but they were not in their rooms .. weird .. I was kinda worried by the time night came .. i thot smthn bad had happened .. so i was just about to contact concierge when mom called .. phew ... close call ... We had chinese for dinner .. but it wasn' enuff .. so we ordered spaghetti through room service ... Anyways .. i'll sign off now .. I have to wake up early tomorrow to catch the train to .. guess where .. VENICE !! ... yay ... you know the sinking city ? o.o .. okok ciao !!

Today was really a hectic day for me neh .... I woke up at 6:30 am in the morning to attend my cousin, Will's graduation from kindergarten .. haha ... it was fun watching him perform .. and he can sing too .. wow amazing .. haha .. it was really fun to be with kids .. they are all so innocent and cute .. hey im not a paedophile la ... T-T ... anyways ... later today I had to prepare for Francis Cheong's Boutique opening ... wow .. everyone was really very busy .... Later in the afternoon, I took a nap cause I was really pooped from all the events from the past few days ... I only woke up again later at 4 pm .. just in time to get changed and head for the event. At appox 6:00 pm, we headed for the Orchard Hotel. Everyone was already there .. and wow, the shop turned out to be very beautiful ... just yesterday .. I was slaving away .. helping to mop and sweep the shop .. haha .. well .. I went to greet some of our guests ... they were all a lively bunch man .. haha ... everything went well.. I really thank Wei Png and Chee How for sacrificing their time to come to this event .. haha .. so the 3 of us adjourned to the reception ... haha .. kinda nice .. then some of our local celebrities turned up ... haha .. all of us including my cousins went to get their autographs and snap some photographs ..... haha .. it was fun .. really ... after some cocktails .. the ballroom doors were finally opened and we went in .. yay .. ok im getting a bit too excited .. -.- .. the fashion show was kinda exciting and boring at the same time .. haha .. maybe I have to learn to appreciate this kind of stuff ... and apprepciate my mom venturing into this business too ... for my mom !! ... anyways .. I had to leave early .. I had a flight to catch to Rome .. haha .. so we quickly rushed home .. changed and whisked ourselves to the airport .. the airport was under construction .. finally .. it was abt time they did .. anyways .. after checking in we headed for the lounge .. haha .. i stuffed myself so I wouldn't be hungry ... the flight was going to be 13 hours man .. phew .. at least I would be sleeping .. anyways .. it has been a fun day for me .. SObz .. today, my mom forced me to go to the boutique to help clean it up and stuff T-T .. at first we only went there to visit everything but the shope was all messy and it was just 1 day before the grand opening man .. and we all kinda panicked .. so we headed to grandma's house for dinner first .. since it was sunday .. i was still having the pre-travelling jitters and cooped up at the study room -.- ... anyways .. after dinner and the adults had finished their chattering .. yada yada .. we went back to the boutique .. equipped with mops .. brooms and stuff and had the maids to come and help .. so throughout the rest of the night .. we slaved away .. the workers were finishing up the shopw .. while the rest of us went sweeping the floor .. it was kinda fun ... and then do the vacuumung .. mop the floor and even wrap presents for the christmas tree -.- haha .. nthn else better to do sia .. anyways .. we picked up our momentum and the hsope started looking .. erm .. like a shop .. dotz .. haha .. well it was so fun that I didn't want to leave until my mom thwacked me .. no la .. jking .. we left at abt 12 am i think .. yeah .. and then once I reached home .. smelly me just jumped onto my bed and dozed off ... END of story ...

-.- I caught the flu bug this morning .. I usually have a strong immunity again colds .. and haha .. I haven't been sick since October 2003 ... hey .. that's already 1 year ... wow .. strong and healthy for 1 year till today .. =.= well .. I was sneezing the whole day .. until about 4 pm ... after 6pm everything cleared up .. sigh so sad I missed the outing with my classmates -.- nvm .. i can still go tomorrow .. i hope .. hmm ... I have to collect Derek's report book tomorrow ... dunno what for .. hope its good news XP .. anyways ... was really bored @ home today and since there was no point to go meet my classmates as it was kinda late and raining heavily .. I went to wei png's house again ... and as usual .. the coms kept us happy all day long =) ... the 3 of us went mad as usual .. heng we never caused mayhem in the kitchen or else .. haha .. after many rounds of CS .. we entertained ourselves with Futurama .. we all kept laughing like crazy .. really hillarious .. haha .. anyways .. I reached home earlier today for once .. thank god .. 10 pm XD ... den I helped my mom finalise the hotel bookings .. and whoopie-do ... we tallied it up and came up with a whopping $15,000 bill just for the hotels alone .. crazy .. its always like that when we go to Europe ... -.- ... I suggested to Mom that we might as well purchase an apartment there .. @.@ .. no need to pay so much money for hotels .. bahz .. hmm .. oh yeah .. tomorrow we are celebrating the birthdays of our fellow classmates ... so I would like to wish all of you guys a wonderful and memorable birthday in advance .. and I'm bringing the cake tomorrow .. and it'll be chocolate !! yay .. -.- .. i think .. okie-dokie .. it's 3:30 in the morning .. and I'm going to sleep .. *yawn* ... so I'll sign off now ... nite ^^

Wow ... Wei wei has finally got married to this wonderful girl .. Linda ... perfect couple .. haha .. this afternoon .. we went over to their house for Lunch at the Garden .. the variety of food was excellent and the it was definitely sumptous .. everyone was enjoying themselves .. and I also got to see my relatives again .. haha .. too many to remember ... Hmmm .. so far this is the only wedding this year that I was not directly invloved .. I was really very restless and trying to help in any possible way ... haha ... busybody me .. we went home after that and I went to take a nap .. damn tiring .. and we had to get prepared for dinner at 7 ... after my nap .. my dad got me a new ipod mini ... it's really cool .. but I got the metallic blue T.T i want silver ... but nvm .. so transfered all my music from windows media to my ipod but alas so many of my songs were protected .. so I could only download 60+ of my 500 songs =.= ... sigh .. haha .. anyways at the weddng dinner at the four seasons.. I was wearing the full tuxedo .. and had earplugs around me .. I looked like some bodyguard or smthn .. damn funny ... HAHA .. anyways .. the evening was fantastic .. entertainment was wonderful .. they got 2 young performers to do some samba or some tango .. i think they were only 8 or 9 !! Then .. wah .. I saw Mr. S Dhanabalan .. =.= whats he doing here ... btw he is the no.2 man @ Temasek Holdings .. and there were even Sultans attending it o.o like wth ?? hmm .. so anyways .. I found out ALvin is getting married .. its like so fast man .. he's my cousin somemore ... its in december .. so .. i'll probably take leave from school to attend the wedding .. i really cannot miss it !!! sigh .. so many impt events in december .. really unfair that I have to go back to school -.- ... sian ... anyways .. 12:30 am and I'm tired .. so I think I'd better go and get some Z's ... it was really an interesting and memorable day =) ... haha .. so I'll cross off this social event .. so I have how many more this month .. erm ... 4 more -.- ... next one is tomorrow's outing with my classmates at Pasir Ris !! ..
